Iio rapture was playing in Malta when I went with my best friend in 2000. Way before it hit the clubs in the UK. We had such good times.

I also liked a rave back then and saw Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Dave Pearce amoung others.

I used to disgust my hall mates by snubbing the r n b and cheesy floors of the glues and going straight to the dance music section but then we'd meet up somewhere and not care what the music was by that stage. I went out 5 days a week 🙃

The first thing that came to mind was 'dancing in the moonlight'. I remember seeing toploader when at uni. So must have been around 2000.

Oh and the drum n bass night where DH and I first met. Skibadee, what a legend. Less said about that night the better 😆

Most of the above are older than early 2000? More like mid to late? I remember commuting to my second job listening to artic monkeys. So must have been 2005+.
I'm not know for my memory though .

I miss Hed Kandi nights in the mid 2000s. Glam but before it all became about Instagram and posing. And just awesome mixed disco tunes. And LOTS of glitter!!
