www.eonline.com/amp/news/1317172/nick-jonas-and-priyanka-chopra-welcome-baby-via-surrogate I think I need to stop looking at social media as hardly a week goes by when I don t see yet another wealthy celebrity couple opening up their homes to a little baby via surrogate. So many rich gay couples as well it’s like their own little community of fathers with surrogate babies. Is it social media that is making it look so common or has it somehow increased recently? I’m not talking normal average people I’m talking about people literally being able to buy babies.

As the mum of a 26 weeker I have so many questions. Who is doing skin to skin for this baby? It is so important at this gestation? There might be some critical medical decisions to be made for this baby? Who is making those?

@TwigTheWonderKid

"Their busy work schedules also mean that it’s difficult for them to physically be together to conceive when she is ovulating". Seriously?!
They both earn enough to arrange to fly to be together a couple of days per month.

Wonder how they will co parent if never together

All that's new, is that nowadays people are open about it. In the past I'm pretty sure that when the inheritance of land, wealth and titles was a major concern to wealthy people with fertility problems, surrogacy was sometimes the secret solution to producing an heir.

Well I suppose one good thing is that they didn't decide they didn't want the baby anymore because it was born early and so may have ongoing health complications.
