And if so, what? I'm having a Chinese and I've ordered:
Chicken chow mein (but no beansprouts)
Egg fried rice
S+S ribs
Crispy duck with pancakes
Vegetable spring rolls
Prawn crackers

Cantonese sweet and sour with egg fried rice and two battered chicken balls that DS didn't eat

Now in the bath feeling like a beached whale.

Antiqueanniesmagiclanternshow · 14/01/2022 20:01

Waiting for it to arrive. Chicken feast pizza and chicken wings . Bottle of diet coke.

Scottishnewbie2022 · 14/01/2022 20:03

I’m trying not to this Jan but I’m sure we will cave tomorrow! Hope you enjoy yours.

Yes. Dad's turn to choose, sadly, so it was Nando's.

@Scottishnewbie2022 You could always buy some supermarket ready meals instead :)
Echobelly · 14/01/2022 20:07

Yes, Turkish grill. Don't get takeaway often, but DS has COVID so treating ourselves as we won't be going anywhere this weekend!

I had chicken in tomato and veg sauce (very nice, first time I tried that); DH had lamb liver followed by lamb shank and chips, oldest had chicken schnitzel and chips and we took chicken shish and rice to the sick-room!

Local grill does lovely meat dishes - chips leave something to be desired but the meat more than makes up for it.

ImInStealthMode · 14/01/2022 20:07

We decided this year we'd only have one takeaway a month and January's was on New Years Day which now seems like an error Confused

Almost-takeaway tonight instead; half-price Pizza Express pizzas and dough balls from Waitrose, and Fanta instead of booze.

TonytheDog · 14/01/2022 20:14

No - because I live in the middle of bloody nowhere and no one delivers here. I will vicariously live via other peoples take always.

SkankingMopoke · 14/01/2022 20:17

No, but we've had a 20 minute Hello Fresh dinner so it involved very little effort.

Pinchofnom · 14/01/2022 20:17

No but we will have one tomorrow. Sushi more than likely as we’re on a health kick (which means we can drink red wine)

TooMuchSugar22 · 14/01/2022 20:19

Yep pizza! Should be here soon starving!

BeyondMyWits · 14/01/2022 20:19

Yes... KFC zinger burger box meal (corn on the cob and tango as the options) was very freshly cooked and tasty.

Like a pp, we are also doing only one takeaway a month, was not disappointed.

JustFrustrated · 14/01/2022 20:21

Yes, because I fucked up the Tesco order so instead of a delivery of food I got:

One bag of chocolate filled crepes.
The driver was laughing when he knocked on, he's our weekly driver so knew I'd messed up and didn't ring to query because he wanted the laugh instead.

I didn't need the order for tonights tea, but seemed like a good excuse. So we went to Tesco to do the shopping and then I placed a delivery order for takeaway when home.

Chicken supreme pizza for DH
Chicken strips and chips for the kids
Tuna, chicken and sweetcorn pizza for me.

niki26 · 14/01/2022 20:24

Not tonight - it usually would be takeaway tonight but we are actually trying to save a bit of cash (rather than massively being healthy!) so I have been cooking lamb curry in the slow cooker all day....we had it with some mini naan breads and it was very nice with no wastage. Now eating left over Christmas chocolates for desert!

SagittariusDwarf · 14/01/2022 20:28

Pizza! Still got loads left for tomorrow as massively over-ordered

jesusmaryjosephandtheweedonkey · 14/01/2022 20:30

Pizza. 15 inch hot & spicy with extra chilli and a garlic bread baguette with cheese

mogkat · 14/01/2022 20:30

Yes me and husband are have Chinese and are waiting for it to be delivered.
We're also having chicken chow mein with no bean sprouts!
Plus sweet and sour chicken balls, egg fried rice and chips - I love the chips from the Chinese takeaway Grin

Magpiecomplex · 14/01/2022 20:34

Fish and chips here. Much needed!

MrsPnut · 14/01/2022 20:34

No, because we bought a sound bar instead.

DH and DD had half a metre of pizza each from Morrisons and I had a beef hash ready meal with some green veg.

itsgettingweird · 14/01/2022 20:35

We had dominoes!

We rarely have takeaway so ds was thrilled.

I had a voucher code which meant same price as getting the decent large ones from Asda. £9.99 per large pizza. And plenty of leftovers!

getsanta · 14/01/2022 20:37

Dominos on the way. With wings, which aren't great, but the Frank's Red Hot sauce saves them.

A580Hojas · 14/01/2022 20:38

No. I don't know why I'm adding to this thread really Grin. Takeaways are more like once every 2 or 3 months here, it's a "treat" rather than a can't be arsed to cook option here.

When we can't be arsed to cook we throw money at M&S.

bellalou1234 · 14/01/2022 20:39

My mouth is watering. I'm being frugal to pay debt so made mince and dumplings. Not a Friday night treat at all but I'm at work for 5 long days.. so.. my order would have been from a local chippy/pizza place. Bolognaise pizza margarita pizza, kebab and cheesy chips. I am an animal.

ILoveYouMoreTheEnd · 14/01/2022 20:40

Not tonight, I made a chicken curry with peshwari naan and we had space brownies x

HopingForMyRainbowBaby · 14/01/2022 20:43

No although some take away guys just rang the door bell. It had my address on it but definitely not ordered by me! Nor would anyone randomly order me one either!
