Is it Carrie? Or Wilf? Or is he wanting to avoid questions on the planned trip to Lancashire?

@Seeline

They haven't said he is isolating, just that the visit to a vaccination hub was cancelled.
Really??!!

Well that's silly. Bit obvious if they've come out with that straight!

@CheeseMmmm

I've heard sometimes some get so tired they can barely stand.

Poor things.

Just checked BBC.

Boris has covid positive no longer on front page was one of top stories this morning.

Definitely BBC have edited the pieces I've seen to just say Lancashire, and delete that was COVID test centre.

Jesus. Loads of this before.

Assume because BBC in pocket gov now due to funding threats.

Yes he’s hiding. Saying we won’t be seeing him for a week as he will be following guidance to ‘reduce contacts as much as possible’. That doesn’t usually include bunking off work.

Wouldn’t go down well with my employer if I told them I wasn’t coming in for this reason.

I've seen many occasions when people on here have suggested pretending to have covid to get out of doing something. So why would we be surprised if Johnson uses it as an excuse!

@MargaretThursday

There's a higher chance than most dads that one of his children has tested positive by the sheer number of them out there. The question is if it is one he's actually seen in the last decade.
Quite.
