Having a stick Dyson upstairs. I only bother to lug the actual hoover up for the weekly clean. Saves so much time and effort just to whizz the stick one over as maintenance.

My Alexa, I love listening to audible books in bed of an evening,
Also my robot hoover love it she goes under the bed and everything. X

A laminator. One of my best purchases ever.

babyjenks93 · 13/01/2022 15:08

The air fryer (so easy and delicious)
Cordless dyson hoover (best money I've ever spent, so quick and light)
The elbow grease spray (so easy to clean most things!)
Spray mop (especially with a dog)
Mooncup (don't know how to go without now)
Clinell wipes to use around the house (so easy everywhere)
A nice teapot! This doesn't make my life easier really but it makes me happy 😂

You have prompted me - I have just ordered myself an Audible subscription and an Echo Grin. Now to choose what to listen to....

I am holding off on a robot vac as I suspect my dogs would attack it!

Two hoovers, one up and one down.

Drawer dividers for pants etc so no issues trying to sort children clothes.
Lots of schools shirts and tights always have some handy same with school ties.air fryer was also a good buy. So much quicker and faster than putting huge oven on.

Stiffcondomhat · 13/01/2022 21:49

@coodawoodashooda what do you laminate?

I'm a teacher. Everything. Absolutely everything. Schools are really genuinely skint. I print stuff at home and laminate it so that it will last and I get to keep and reuse it.

coodawoodashooda · 13/01/2022 22:09

I save hours not chasing the school laminator down.

bluejelly · 13/01/2022 22:15

Period pants
Eufy hoover
Spice cupboard organiser from Lakeland
Also, Prozac Smile

buckeejit · 14/01/2022 08:52

Changing the shit drawer in the kitchen to a nice organised & labelled spice drawer. Makes cooking a joy & I can find everything easily

Yes to alexas everywhere & smart plugs. An instantpot & an aromatherapy associates atomiser - just arrived yesterday & way better than the ones I have that need water

Also getting my colours 'done'. Everything in the wardrobe goes together so I don't have to think about what I put on

Avarua · 14/01/2022 08:58

Weekly home helper who does simple cleaning, tidying, sorting jobs
My dog, who prompts me twice daily to honom walks and who brings me joy
A basket in my front cupboard for items of clutter or unwanted or outgrown 'stuff', which is emptied monthly to the charity shop down the road. Bye bye clutter.

What would you like to know?

We have Meaco 20L Low Energy Dehumidifier and Air Purifier 2 in 1- Dehumidifier For Medium to Large Size Homes - Controls Humidity & Cleans Air All Year Round with HEPA filter www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00HO963A6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_8JH4QFH8DZT7S1BG2K1Y?psc=1&_encoding=UTF8&tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Put it in a modest sized room with door closed and washing dried a treat. Inexpensive and doesn’t shrink clothes like tumble drying. It’s truly shocking how much water it pulls in.
