I think someone laughed at my dinosaur jumper

On my way out of M&S food hall earlier wearing the rather splendid dinosaur jumper Father Christmas brought, and I think I got laughed at by a lady passing me. I could be wrong, but she had previously been walking in silence with a man, looked directly at my chest (where aforementioned dinosaur is proudly displayed) and laughed. One of those slightly derisive, snorty kinds of laugh.

I’m now thinking of making this jumper a sort of M&S uniform, and wearing it every time I go there, in the hope of bumping into her again, and through regular exposure, showing her the joys of dino knitwear.

What do we think? Perhaps I need to up my dinosaur game to be really effective? Dinosaur leggings? Dress? Face paint and matching sound effects?

Definitely wear the dino jumper every time!! I actually have the dinosaur popsy dress you shared the picture of and love it. Wear what makes you feel good and screw what some random m and s woman thinks 🙂

Oh I love it! I dress like a 13 year old boy (I'm a 36 year old woman) - always been a bit baffled by adult clothing

I met my best friend when she started working on the same floor as me but in a different team. I knew I wanted to be her friend the day she wore a dinosaur jumper to work Grin

Do it. Dinosaurs are awesome! I have a range of themed tunic dresses like in your original post. The kids in my class love them, and I’ve had nothing but smiles from strangers on my supermarket stop on the way home 😄

Sugarhill are going to notice an awful lot of traffic from MN tonight… I just bought the cardigan with the dino buttons too - I lusted after the & Other Stories one for ages and never bought it and then they stopped doing it.

@Interrobanger Hmm I'm not sure what she was wearing. I didn't really notice. Some sort of blue raincoat I think. It was sunny though.

Shein have some cool dinosaur clothes. Iv just bought my DD (teenage not toddler) an awesome jumper from the womans section and she absolutely loves it.

I'm with you guys. I couldn't find my friendly monsters hoodie at a recent family thing - it had been bundled up with 4 year old relative's things ready for packing.

I have no Dino clothes. Something I must amend

There is a lovely puffin top on Wildlife trust website, l got my lovely hedgehog xmas jumper from there.

Sugarhill Brighton is a recent favourite of mine, although can only claim a jumper with a rainbow lightning bolt and two with stars. Leaves immediately to check out dinosaur ones....
