I think someone laughed at my dinosaur jumper

On my way out of M&S food hall earlier wearing the rather splendid dinosaur jumper Father Christmas brought, and I think I got laughed at by a lady passing me. I could be wrong, but she had previously been walking in silence with a man, looked directly at my chest (where aforementioned dinosaur is proudly displayed) and laughed. One of those slightly derisive, snorty kinds of laugh.

I’m now thinking of making this jumper a sort of M&S uniform, and wearing it every time I go there, in the hope of bumping into her again, and through regular exposure, showing her the joys of dino knitwear.

What do we think? Perhaps I need to up my dinosaur game to be really effective? Dinosaur leggings? Dress? Face paint and matching sound effects?

Foolish woman - she clearly didn't realise you were part of the Sisterhood . If I meet any women wearing dinosaur anything I immediately assume they are awesome, in the dame way as I make the assumption about anyone with an IheartJKR mug .

If I am right, DS has an awesome dinosaur cap, that I think would look fab with your jumper and leggings

I think those of you who are saying you like my jumper are possibly looking at @Hugasauras 's post as I didn't put a picture of mine up, but, as a beautiful coincidence, it's the same jumper, just in a different colour!!

I used to have a cat hat - I say used to because it blew away on a very windy day and I was gutted. Wore it every day where I live in the winter (London) and nobody batted an eyelid. Then we went away for a week to another part of the country - more rural - and had people openly pointing and laughing at it in a supermarket.

Are you sure though OP because that’s a perfectly acceptable, quite subtle dinosaur jumper?

I would wager she might be someone who doesn’t believe they ever existed. They are out there, my dad dated one.

This is inspiring me to buy a dinosaur jumper while the sale is on.

Someone laughed at my rainbow leggings in my hometown when I was walking to the supermarket and she was coming out of it.
She was a kind person though so she explained she was just delighted by the nice bright colours.
She might have been lying but I bought it.

Just laughing with no follow-up is a bit rude, but clothes can definitely make people laugh.

I have a dinosaur patterned dress that has had more comments than literally anything else I have ever bought.
My son is crazy for dinos still and I bought it to wear with him but I've worn it to parties and to work and it's just always being commented on.

If I saw it I would laugh too but not in a snooty way just because I’d love it and it would make me happy.
