I think someone laughed at my dinosaur jumper

On my way out of M&S food hall earlier wearing the rather splendid dinosaur jumper Father Christmas brought, and I think I got laughed at by a lady passing me. I could be wrong, but she had previously been walking in silence with a man, looked directly at my chest (where aforementioned dinosaur is proudly displayed) and laughed. One of those slightly derisive, snorty kinds of laugh.

I’m now thinking of making this jumper a sort of M&S uniform, and wearing it every time I go there, in the hope of bumping into her again, and through regular exposure, showing her the joys of dino knitwear.

What do we think? Perhaps I need to up my dinosaur game to be really effective? Dinosaur leggings? Dress? Face paint and matching sound effects?

I identify entirely with this.

I have dinosaur leggings from Lucy Locket Loves and never had any comments. I obviously need the dinosaur jumper to wear with them.

I also got the Lucy Locket Loves sloths in space dungarees for Christmas. I haven't worn them yet but I'm fully expecting comments when I do.

I saw a dog with a dinosaur jumper recently! Nowt wrong with a Dino jumper.

I wear dinosaur dungarees regularly. As well as bee, fox, sloth, ladybird, rainbow, galaxy, floral dungarees and so on...

I have this blouse from joanie- often worn to work under a black shift dress. Looks amazing.

I’d love to know what that woman was wearing which made her feel she had the authority to laugh at someone wearing a completely normal piece of clothing.

See? See? I am normal! I have a dress with squirrels on it. Also one with zebras. One with hares and deer. Another squirrel one. A squirrel jumper. Two shirts with zebras and one with horses and four cat ones (hence my sisters calling me mad cat lady). Many scarfs with various critters. pjs and matching dressing gown with sausage dogs… I’m seeing a theme here…

That’s a lovely jumper, I’d bet money that her companion said something funny just at the moment she was looking at your jumper. Not about you at all.

I regularily wear dresses with cats on. On the whole I get positive comments but had an awkward moment while out eating where I was definitely the subject of gossip of two women who kept looking over me
