Hey! That's my house!

In my dreams.

Im2022 · 06/01/2022 19:18

Let’s go halfsies?

But omg, it looks like a fairytale house. Rapunzel.

toomuchlaundry · 06/01/2022 19:18

I’ve always wanted a window seat, and that is one to die for

Chewbecca · 06/01/2022 19:25

My goodness, that setting and those gardens are beautiful. I’d expect loads more pics though and wonder if the condition is poor.

The one bedroom pic does put me off, those beams look distinctly spider-y.

Spud1130 · 06/01/2022 19:28

It's cost that per month in the winter to heat and the stairs look like they'd really hurt if you fell down them

Juancornetto · 06/01/2022 19:32

Ah that's idyllic!

user014572 · 06/01/2022 19:37

Oh wow!!! looks around shabby front room at second hand furniture and view of the neighbour's bathroom window and weeps

Newyearoldyou · 06/01/2022 19:40

Wow that's so beautiful and more cosy inside than it seems from outside.
In all honesty though I could never ever live in a house so large and special remote!

mjf981 · 06/01/2022 19:41

Love the setting. The house...not so much. Why so few pictures for such a large house?

HPLikecraft · 06/01/2022 19:43

Love it! Fight you for it!

ivfbabymomma1 · 06/01/2022 19:44

That's absolutely stunning!!! Now can you all lend me some money and back away from my new house please ta

Soffit · 06/01/2022 19:47

I love the elevated position and the gardens. I could not get along with the interior though

Loudestcat14 · 06/01/2022 19:47

Such a gorgeous view weirdly obscured by that window with multiple tiny panes of glass – you can't see out properly! The rest of the house is a bit fusty in decor, but lovely.

Not keen on yours... don't like beams.
Was going to look for comparable price and found this !,🤣

Pallisers · 06/01/2022 19:49

It is the views and the gardens I love - stunning

WarmSausageTea · 06/01/2022 19:50

Lovely though the OP’s next home is, I want this place…

14th century house, no way! Having lived in a Victorian terrace for twenty years, I'm never buying anything earlier than 1930s again.
I couldn't get the photos to work, but it's certainly beautiful from the outside.

Onlinedilema · 06/01/2022 19:53

Stunning

This is so much nicer! I just Googled it, thinking maybe a pop star lived there (because of drums and showbiz decor) and apparently it's owned by a contemporary artist. Figures.
boatyardblues · 06/01/2022 19:55

That Scottish castle would need a lot of redecorating to make it habitable for me. Once you remove the chintz and the furniture you could move in to the first house and not have to do too much (on a surface level). It is relatively plain under all the owner’s stuff. The setting is lovely.

Pegasushaswings · 06/01/2022 19:56

That’s gorgeous! £2.75 mil seems quite good for that house but I guess I’m used to London prices! Not that I could afford that btw

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 06/01/2022 19:57

Love the gardens and views, but hate, hate, hate the spiral staircases, kitchen and black beamed bedroom.

ouch321 · 06/01/2022 19:58

Well it says there are 14 bedrooms so that's c £200k per person. Club together OP with other keen posters and you can have a twist on an HMO :-)

RB68 · 06/01/2022 20:02

Lovely Arts and Crafts style - would take some maintenace I would have thought!!! But yes stunning
