Standing making a cup of tea early very this morning and both my cats woke and came to join me. They were just standing staring at me (waiting for food, obviously, not because they love me!) and I just kept thinking how much I love ‘em 😻 Posting pictures of them to show you all why I clearly have the most beautiful cats in the world 😉 but I’d love to see yours too! Please indulge me 😊

Have had cats all my life - when my dad and mum divorced he became a dog person and while I think dogs are also very wonderful cats will always have my heart.

to all of you who have lost a feline overlord. We lost our beautiful boy a year ago to FIV. He was only 8 and a half. I'm only just at the point where I am considering a new one. I'm a sucker for black cats and ginger cats particularly. That said my darling boy was a tabby!

I’m SO GLAD I started this thread…. I’ve looked at every single on photo you’ve posted thank you all so much, I’m amongst my people! And they’re all so beautiful. I love the posing photos, the sleepy photos, the crazy faces…and all the stories about how my we love them. Cats just get to you in a way no other animal does, don’t they?

I’ve had two amazing cats in my life. But now terribly allergic 😭😭😭

I’ve got a dog, but he does not sit on my lap or purr.

@OhDear2200 - get a Sphinx cat - they're hairless so you should be fine.

I used to be allergic when young but got cats later and just developed no allergy to them, no idea why.

This little rapscallion is my first cat and I'll be honest - it's taken me a while to actually like him. He cannot stay off the counters in the kitchen. No matter how well we clean up he just has to take the chance, so now he has to be locked out while we prepare food or he'll pull it right out from in front of you
I'm thankfully beginning to have a little bond with him now and and he comes to me for cuddles and love (on his terms)

Nala, the cat that adopted us

Aw this thread is so good. My Dd and me are in cat heaven looking at all your lovely Cats. My boy is a rescue too & I love reading stories of other rescues getting such loving homes. Ours (Rusty😻) was found in a bin by an elderly lady outside a shop she seen the people pull up in their car and just dump him, he had a broken back leg ☹️ so thank goodness for her, she left him with the animal shelter and they sorted him out and put him up for adoption and the minute we saw him it was love 💕 we had lost our beautiful black cat (Wilbur) a few months before so we were all heartbroken (like another poster said have a total soft spot for black cats) so now we have this ginger ninja in our lives he's been following me around all morning and has just head butted me several times while I've been typing this - who said cats like being alone was very wrong another pic (or 2!!) feel ☺️

@TwoBigNoisyBoys a million percent I have more pics of the cats than my kids 😂😂

Ivy (the short haired one) has been a bit poorly recently, lots of steroids and antibiotics, her baby sister Betsy (the fluffy one) laid down and held her paws until she felt better.

I swear I could have cried at the cuteness!!

Here is Molly, our 3-year-old rescue cat.

She was living on the flat roof of a shop with her litter of kittens when she was rescued. She is haughty but adorable!

I adore cats. Sadly DD is very allergic to cats so we can't have any. But this one visits us regularly
