Can we have a ‘I love my beautiful cats’ thread?!

Standing making a cup of tea early very this morning and both my cats woke and came to join me. They were just standing staring at me (waiting for food, obviously, not because they love me!) and I just kept thinking how much I love ‘em 😻 Posting pictures of them to show you all why I clearly have the most beautiful cats in the world 😉 but I’d love to see yours too! Please indulge me 😊

They can be!!! Other times the cat is fair game to be chased....

This is Smudge who likes to keep my hands warm and assist me with typing when I am working.

We fostered him, his mum and his three litter mates last August when they were 5 days old. We kept Smudge and one of his brothers but he was run over and killed by some speeding bastard in October. He was such a little sweetheart.

It's been a period of readjustment for all of us and Smudge does miss playing with him but is generally ok and has very much become "my cat". He likes to sleep next to me in the bed with his head on the pillow every night (though he does get up several times to do a mouse patrol). He is my favourite child.

In this photo we see him sat on the box lid of the Christmas decorations whilst we're trying to put them back in the box..... Wherever we are, he is trying to get in the way!

I’m SO GLAD I started this thread…. I’ve looked at every single on photo you’ve posted thank you all so much, I’m amongst my people! And they’re all so beautiful. I love the posing photos, the sleepy photos, the crazy faces…and all the stories about how my we love them. Cats just get to you in a way no other animal does, don’t they?

@TwoBigNoisyBoys my brother puts a calendar together for us every year using our pictures. Since we got the furry lads fifteen months ago, it's actually quite a challenge to find photos of ourselves, cats have taken over! They are so cute though
