Can we have a ‘I love my beautiful cats’ thread?!

Standing making a cup of tea early very this morning and both my cats woke and came to join me. They were just standing staring at me (waiting for food, obviously, not because they love me!) and I just kept thinking how much I love ‘em 😻 Posting pictures of them to show you all why I clearly have the most beautiful cats in the world 😉 but I’d love to see yours too! Please indulge me 😊

What lovely cats — all of them. Makes my heartache. My health has deteriorated and I’m not able to replace my darling boy who died of cancer. Never thought I’d reach this stage in my life.
A cat is better than a sleeping pill

Flynn, my gorgeous 4 year old rescue who we collected from the RSPCA in April last year.

He was supposedly a stray Tom who survived on the streets since he was a kitten but I have no idea how… he spends 75% of his time cuddling either me or my DP and the other 25% shouting at us for either food or play! He gets in bed with us and has to be the little spoon 🙈

When I WFH he sits on my lap aaaaall day and climbs on the laptop if he’s not getting enough attention, including on Zoom calls (me and my colleagues joke that he has a better attendance rate than some of the team!). He’s the neediest cat I’ve ever known and we ADORE being his slaves! So much love and beautiful thread!

The reason I am awake at 4:30am. Every. Single. Day!

Rue is the menace stood on the door and tormenting BigCat at the patio.

She's still a wee thing, whereas BigCat is now 10 and can't be arsed with her antics .

When I was unwell recently, this wonderful pile of cats on my bed was such a comfort. A fat 12yr old ginger boy, a shy, loving 2 yr old tabby and a fluffy black kitten who is full of beans and mischief. Cats are such bringers of joy.

These two are in my top 5 things I love most in the world (after DD, DH and DMIL).

Two rescues, fluffy one from a local rescue centre, tabby from pets@home (and vets) where she was dumped on the counter at 18 months! And Ollie the black and white moggy who was about to be chucked out on the street at about 4 weeks old, you call tell he's been taken from his mum too soon but he copes ok.

I’ve had two amazing cats in my life. But now terribly allergic 😭😭😭

I’ve got a dog, but he does not sit on my lap or purr.

All the cats are adorable! Though I have a soft spot for all black cats. They are the best.

My cat Kitty (black cat) and the other a cat who visits everyday around lunchtime, don't know his name but I call him 'The boy'

My DH wanted a black cat , I was given the task of finding our felines (we decided on two and a lot of cat pairs seemed to have one black cat ) We lucked out with a brother/sister pair , identical except some very subtle differences .
And they add a certain class to DD grey/whte monochrome bedding !.

So sorry to the ones who have lost their cats…I still miss my baby who died 5 years ago.

My two rescues rule the roost…and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m sitting on the sofa in an awkward position as we speak because her ladyship is asleep on me and looks too comfy to move!

Black and white is my boy who's 5,grey and white is our first ever girl who we rehomed at 5 months,shes now almost 1 and wonders why he doesn't like her
