Adult bed linen, not kids.

Mainly curious but also looking for some recommendations.

IKEA when I moved and had to start from scratch four years ago. Recently replaced a sheet with one from Aldi (and two pillowcases to match).

Dunelm currently my favourite.

The Fine Bedding Company
They make coverless duvets that are so easy to wash and make bed changing day a breeze! I have the summer tog ones that are a more cooler fabric and the winter ones are a soft brushed material. They are very snuggly, light and cosy. All my beds have them now!

RumJerrySailorRum · 04/01/2022 19:13

Boundary Mills, along with all my towels, or TK Maxx.

My favourite brand however is Clarissa Hulse.

ashorterday · 04/01/2022 19:31

My favourite quality wise is from John Lewis, but I've bought from Matalan, Dunhelm, Next and not had any issues. The only bed linen I hate is Orla Kiely - lovely colours and designs but nightmare to iron.

Bluntness100 · 04/01/2022 19:34

I changed all the beds to white and bought all new linen from Amazon. They have sone really good sellers and products with high thread count

My daughter likes colour so when buying for her place it’s John Lewis.

SiulaGrande · 04/01/2022 19:34

Recently, Bedeck in the sale, one set was Sanderson, the other Joules. I like high thread count cotton. Often TK Maxx, for duvet covers, random pillow slips and bottom sheets.

Enough4me · 04/01/2022 19:36

Next and Dunhelm. I like Next extra deep fitted sheets as they are deep.

Pugdogmom · 04/01/2022 19:41

Primark or Morrisons. My husband is disabled and takes to his bed a lot due to pain, so have stopped buying expensive bedding sets. I don't know what he does to bedding but he's just managed to rip a sheet.Confused.
I found IKEA stuff looked done quickly and Habitat went bobbly.

edwinbear · 04/01/2022 19:42

The White Company - in fact I have new linen and new towels bought in the sale being delivered tomorrow Grin

Cherryblossoms85 · 04/01/2022 19:43

John Lewis. Much better quality, although I suppose it's a while since I've bought any.

MaybeHeIsMyCat · 04/01/2022 19:46

M&S
La redoute

TheMissingMango · 04/01/2022 19:47

King of Cotton or Richard Haworth.

Cuddlemuffin · 04/01/2022 19:48

Marks and Spencers, John Lewis or La Radoute. Next is sub par for quality I've found recently x

DustySpringboard · 04/01/2022 19:49

Generally John Lewis, sometimes Next or Dunelm (got a fabulous Sanderson set from there)

However, it's got to be non iron/poly cotton etc Can't stand creased bedding but life is too short to iron a king sized duvet & 4 pillowcases!

I recently bought a silver grey set, high thread count cotton, creases like a bastard and no amount of ironing will get those buggers out!

dontcallmelen · 04/01/2022 19:51

Recently M&S also got a set from Primark which is 55%cotton & 45% linen washes & irons beautifully time will tell how it lasts.
Also have some Laura Ashley bedding which has lasted well.

ISaidDontLickTheBin · 04/01/2022 19:51

John Lewis or M&S.

Previously got cheaper cotton bedding from Amazon but the quality wasnt great.

Svara · 04/01/2022 19:53

@Cherryblossoms85

John Lewis. Much better quality, although I suppose it's a while since I've bought any.
How long do better quality sheets last? Assuming two in rotation.
Tulipomania · 04/01/2022 19:53

organic cotton, from John Lewis or Dip & Doze.
