Anyone else not drinking tonight?

I'm not pregnant or ill, just don't fancy it really. Had 4 gin and tonics last night and feel a bit hungover after those still. I'm planning on drinking sparkling water and feeling fresh in the morning hopefully.

I rarely drink on NYE and I’m a right lush the rest of the year. Same as you, I’ll be a bit hungover or just had enough.
I’m borderline tonight though… could go either way…

I got my booster yesterday. Not sure you can have alcohol after? Might risk one...

I've had 2 drinks in 2 years and already really tired
So no I won't be drinking most likely be sleeping 😴

Me. I just can’t be bothered with it and find I tend to enjoy food more without it so have plenty of snacks instead.

@anotherchocolate I was told at my booster appointment to drink plenty of water after the jab but not specifically to avoid alcohol.

Nah, I’ve never been fussed about booze. I’d much rather have nice food!

Me i'm not. Neither is DH (surprisingly).

We usually have a couple while watching a film on Saturdays so we'll do that tomorrow as usual.

Ashamed to say we haven't even got any fancy snacks either!

We've eaten all the xmas food and i'm sick of cooking so it's beans on toast in a min and a bag of frazzles later while watching Worlds Strongest Man Grin

I really want to, but dont know if I can face it. On day 7 of covid and still feel a bit grim. Haven't drunk all week, and have hardly eaten anything. Feeling fed up now. Debating if a glass of wine would make me feel better or worse, whilst partying in my pjs in the lounge!Possibly will be the first Christmas I don't gain weight though!

I’m really chronically unwell. Feeling very bad tonight. Plus I’m pretty much teetotal anyway.

You can have both! 😀 will be starting on the Cava in an hour. Plenty more after that, and we have a Thai takeaway ordered for 8.30. Thoroughly prepared for a hangover tomorrow in front of Netflix eating carbs.

I'm driving DS to and from a party tonight so won't be drinking. I don't mind in the slightest though.

I gave it up in October as I like it a bit too much.
I'm fine not drinking though, it's bothered me less than I thought.

You definitely can. After all 3 injections, in fact. Not sure how I know… 😬 😅

I’m working tomorrow so nope. I don’t sleep well after alcohol. We went out yesterday for food and a couple.

Not me. My daughter is due to have a baby any day now and I need to be on standby to drive to look after my grandson if she goes into labour with dgc2.
