Maybe something light but not a clue what to actually make 🤷‍♀️

What's cooking at yours?

Just dh and I at home tonight for the first time in 20 years , all dd's away for the night with partners or at friends

We are having
Smoked salmon bilinis

fillet steak , chips, creamed spinach and peas

Fresh berries and cream

Lots and lots of champagne 🥂

We are very excited 😊

MIL made it this way and as she died in August, husband has requested it for tonight. I'd much rather have a takeaway tbh.

Beef and ale casserole in the slow cooker - will serve with roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings.

Japanese/Chinese feast! Hubby got me a sushi making set for Xmas so making sushi, ramen, salad and loads of nibbles like bao buns and gyoza. Trying not to pick at everything as I go!!

Beans on toast.

Lots of Buffet food.... lots of chocolate and lots of gin!! Followed by Christmas Day number 2 tomorrow! Happy New Year everyone xx

I'm doing burgers, chicken ones and beef ones, with potato wedges. Then for later/midnight we will have prawn cocktail vol au vents and a baked Camembert with bread sticks and nibbles.

No idea, going for a meal

I’m having a huge sushi platter delivered, plus chicken katsu curry and spicy Korean chicken wings

Tuna pasta for young DC. I'm cooking a curry for DH and I after they're in bed

I'm starting Vevganuary tomorrow so tonight it's baked Camenbert followed by paneer curry then chocolate fondue

My husband has just cooked a beautiful stuffed Turkey crown from m&s with all the trimmings.....lemon tart for dessert and alcohol of course...it would be rude not to! Happy New Year everyone xx

Oooh lovely

I've made a macaroni cheese with some truffle cheddar we had leftover from Christmas. To be served with a green salad to balance out the glorious stodge.

We were going to have lamb shank in a red wine gravy with mash and veg with a lovely pavlova. Now we are having a little buffet because my husband has a big mouth and doesn’t know when to stfu, in revenge l made him go the shop for everything.

Ordering Chinese takeaway soon, followed by salted caramel profiteroles, and a hot chocolate station set up for later. Our Harry Potter marathon started at 3, everyone is in pjs already.

Chinese will be: beef curry with fried rice, chicken chop suey, crispy fried noodle with beansprouts, and some mixed starters to pick on over the course of the evening - spring rolls, salt and pepper chicken, prawn toast, salt and pepper chips.

Burgers salad rolls cheese pickles etc

I can smell the outdoor oven has just been lit - I am in the bath. So I guess I'm not cooking woohoo!

I've got a ham in the slow cooker and I've done a cheese & onion pie but no real idea what we're having! Picky bits no doubt

Just snacky food for us tonight

Steak, chips, peas and pepper sauce.

Feeling shit after my booster last night so minimum prep is key.

I'll be in bed well before midnight.
