I have zero motivation 🙄

Maybe something light but not a clue what to actually make 🤷‍♀️

Fondue with bread, French fries and crudités to dip in. Tiramisu and plenty of bubbles 🥂

Saucery · 31/12/2021 15:44

Fajitas with homemade spicy chips, coleslaw, guacamole and salsa. I wrap the fajitas into parcels and stick them in the oven wrapped in tinfoil for 15 minutes, crisps the wraps up a treat.

We've all got covid, so nobody feels like making much effort. We had a buffet for lunch, I'm just psyching myself up to clear away the leftvoers before they dry out Xmas Grin

Dinner will be fish and chips if we can get a delivery, DS1 will seriously wig out if Friday rules are not adhered to (it was his biggest fear going away to uni, that he wouldn't find a chippy in time for Friday dinner)

Indian snack selection and dips to be served about 11pm to get us all through to midnight

We're not usually gluttons! But we're all ill and it's been a weird Christmas. We all want to see in the NY together but most of us will be flagging by 9pm this year.

Pizza. That’s enough effort for tonight.

MrsDThomas · 31/12/2021 16:02

Had enough of bloody party food. Im having veg with chicken in white wine sauce, rosemary roast potatoes and lemon meringue pie.

onedayoranother · 31/12/2021 16:04

It's fish Friday here! So fish and chips with peas. Instigated months ago when my daughter said she missed the fish she got on Friday at her old school.

Candied · 31/12/2021 16:06

Steak pie with link sausage in it, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, carrots, peas and broccoli. We’d normally have it on New Year’s Day but DS and his GF are coming tomorrow who are vegan and it makes everything easier to make one vegan meal for everyone.

tigerbear · 31/12/2021 16:09

DH is currently cooking duck legs and roast potatoes with red cabbage.

Bobbybobbins · 31/12/2021 16:13

Crunchymum · 31/12/2021 16:16

Chinese takeaway for us too.

Can't wait.

badlydrawnbear · 31/12/2021 16:16
