Now then. I like that. We had the Yule log vienneta as our Christmas pud alternative. My DC (like my MiL!) are under the impression that Viennetta is the fanciest pudding in the world.

I wish they’d bring back the pineapple one.

Must have been at least twenty years ago.

The crisp layers where pineapple flavoured white chocolate I think.

Can’t remember if the ice cream was pineapple too or plain, but overall the effect was very pineapple-y.

Bloke I worked with at the time told me about them and I pretty much ran to the shop to get one.

Bought them all the time til they disappeared a few months later never to be seen again.

I liked the forest fruit one they did.

I don't think I have ever seen ones other than plain or mint!

Even my trifle making mother in law gets me one every Christmas as she knows its an essential

Me and Dh have guilty pleasure of pouring double cream on it, freezes like icemagic if anyone remembers that? We only have this at Xmas, pure class in our household

My DH is still sulking that they stopped making the biscuit one.

We sliced some banana onto ours last night for the first time. Impressed with the result.

I think that would be a perfectly justifiable experiment. Essential in fact. You know, for Science.

I’m sure we had a chocolate orange one recently. But I am here for all Vienetta-based experiments.

I once softened one and refroze it in heart shaped tins for DH for Valentines.

Yes you need baileys on it. I bought a plain one a few months ago and it tasted of NOTHiNG. Very disappointed, so out came the baileys
