Boxing Day sales - what have you bought?

DS is off to DGP soon, DH has a film fest planned so I have an afternoon of browsing time!

Bought DH a pair of trainers on Schuh last night as they had 20% off and I got a further 20% off with Student Beans

We only bought each other token Xmas gifts and DPIL have given us some cash for Xmas. I'm not usually spendy or a sales trawler - I'm just in the mood!

Quite fancy a hair dryer brush (not Babyliss big hair, mine just died and I wasn't keen in the rotator bit)
Maybe some skin care
Maybe a coat

Looking for shopping company as DH just nods Grin

@SnowdropSally

2 new Christmas trees for next year, Christmas bedding for next year, Christmas tablecloths and runners for next year and a pair of black leather boots.
Where did you buy the trees?
Wizzbangfizz · 26/12/2021 18:20

OP get a revlon one step - game changer!

Ghostlyglow · 26/12/2021 19:14

2 tops from Joanie and 2 necklaces from Tatty Devine. We need new pillows and a duvet but I can't get interested enough in that at the moment Grin

UsernameInTheTown · 26/12/2021 20:29

A beautiful blonde soft sheepskin gilet.
Hello Kitty panniers for my latest addition to my pink bicycle collection.
That is it as I'm on a low spend year.

Happytoknow · 26/12/2021 21:58

Ankle grazer trousers from Mark's & Spencer's ready for summer. Makeup from Boots, a sterling silver bracelet from Argos which I've been wanting for a while, half price so had to get it. Now why else do I need 🤔

SpanielsAreMyLife · 26/12/2021 22:05

I've just bought next years Christmas cards and wrapping paper.

I'm eyeing up an Emma Bridgewater trifle bowl and wondering if I dare risk it with DH.......... he is very prone to putting everything in the dishwasher regardless of it being dishwasher safe or not.

HomeCountiesMum · 26/12/2021 22:11

Three dresses and coat in the Zara sale and a pair of over the knee boots in a boutique sale 🥰

Doesntfeellikexmas · 26/12/2021 22:14

I put in an order of a couple of dresses and and tops from hobbs.

Was hoping I would find the mulberry bag I want with a load off in the sale.....unfortunately not Sad

HoliHormonalTigerlilly · 26/12/2021 22:23

Ooh sale thread what a good idea!
Off to look at Debenhams Grin

forcedfun · 26/12/2021 22:32

@Ghostlyglow oh I was eyeing up the Tatty Devine sale today!

Rillette · 26/12/2021 22:38

White Company bedding.

Rituals handwash and candle (favourite scent)

Some modibodi period pants - thought I would try them out!

Flitted around on Dunelm and Cos websites and picked out a few things, but wasn't excited at checkout so ditched them!

HoliHormonalTigerlilly · 26/12/2021 22:40

@tectonicplates

Debenhams don't have their own-brand clothing any more though, like Debenhams Collection or Red Herring.
Red herring is on there.
DockOTheBay · 26/12/2021 22:41

I was hoping for some good toy sales to get stuff for the kids birthdays but it all seems to be clothes and homeware, so I haven't bought anything.

crossstitchingnana · 26/12/2021 23:16

How sad.

Workyticket · 26/12/2021 23:41

@crossstitchingnana

How sad.
Is that the title of a book you bought in a sale? Glitterball

TwinklyBranch · 26/12/2021 23:47

Literally nothing. I don't waste money on crap I don't need.

TheDaydreamBelievers · 26/12/2021 23:59

@TwinklyBranch Orrr... use the sales to buy stuff you do need but cheaper than usual?

I have bought skincare and a water flosser :D

Calendulaaaaa · 27/12/2021 00:07

Has anyone seen any nice oilcloth by the metre? Wintery themed but not too Christmassy so I can keep it on till end of January. John Lewis only seem to do pvc now? Imagine my horror! Shock

EasterIssland · 27/12/2021 00:08

The brands I like don’t have discounts. Life ain’t fair :(

But the rituals hand wash is tempting (and the cream)

Sunshinedreaming2022 · 27/12/2021 00:13

A Pandora mistletoe charm. And I picked up some clothes for the dc last week from next (sale started Tuesday). That’s it. Was hoping for the lush sale but nothing online yet

Blossomtoes · 27/12/2021 00:13

A dress from Toast I’ve been lusting after - nearly half price.
