We're off to the market shortly for the veg for tomorrow, a visit to the cheese monger, and some bacon 😋

Then it's back to wrap my dad's present before he visits (he's already text he'll be here while we're in town - he does it every bloody year even though he gets the same answer 🙄).

When he's been, it's on with the kitchen prep for tomorrow, a bit of wrapping, some baking, and track Santa on Norad.

What about you lot? Xmas Smile

I have finished the food shopping, which my husband is currently putting away and trying to make space for.

I am going to cook the Turkey today- having buffet tomorrow.

We will watch a Xmas move this afternoon with hot chocolate and the in-laws are visiting this evening.

Escape room with the in-laws at 4, then back to theirs for a party!

Wrapping stocking presents, making chestnut stuffing, opening and eating all the delicious cheese we've bought, playing a board game with wine in front of fire. Happy Christmas everyone xx

A post lunch walk in the park with the dog.

A party style tea this evening.

Then baths and PJ's on to snuggle down and watch a carol service on the telly.

Simple and peaceful is what we need this year.

Merry Christmas All!

Nice chilled out day here. Teen DD is still in bed, I’ve had some toasted panettone for breakfast, finished off the last bits of housework while listening to Christmas music and now I’m just relaxing. In an hour or so I will have a long soak in the bath, then my mum will arrive early evening. We’ll have a buffet tea and watch Elf together, before DD disappears back up to her room. Me and mum will make the stuffing to bring to my sisters tomorrow then I’ll wrap the last few stocking bits I have for DD, and once she’s asleep I’ll lay out all her presents (she’s 16, but we still do this!)

I've got my maternity lounge onesie on (DC due in 3 weeks ShockShock) and I'm doing the last of the housework (I can't just sit and relax as I get sooo bored). The last load of washing is almost finished and I'll just need to sort out the bags to take to my parents tomorrow (including my Nozeco 'wine').

DH is upstairs working but not sure when he will finish!

I'm working a normal day but it's quite quiet. Going out for a meal with another family tonight, I'm really looking forward to it!

Toddler just gone for nap - making sausage sandwiches then off to a Xmas eve wedding it's a relaxed affair . Thank goodness as I have 3 excited DC to entertain ! Will be tracking Santa all afternoon on norad and plying kids with snacks . Quite excited to get my glad rags on though it's been a while!

Very chilled out day here today. A combination of autistic DS getting overwhelmed with extended family visits, and me being CEV, means we're having a small Christmas at home (just DS, DH and me) - and we're all loving it!

Had panettone and coffee for breakfast. Have done a few household jobs and got DS out of the house for a walk this morning. This afternoon I need to do some food prep for tomorrow - make stuffing and ice the Christmas cake. This evening, pizza and film.

After much pleading I've decided to let DD11 see Spider-Man with her bestie and their family on Boxing Day instead of us seeing it today, so we're sat in Starbucks which is empty! They're doing a fab offer though - buy a bag of coffee beans and get your drinks for free! That's saved me about £15 plus the money saved on not seeing Spider-Man today. Happy days! And the initial plan to have Chinese takeaway tonight was vetoed a couple of days back in favour of my cola roast ham, so I'm saving money all round 😂
