I'm really, really broody.

I have one 15 year old DC who I had young. Raising him has been a challenge to say the least. Freedom is within sniffing distance. So WHY am I suddenly so desperately broody?!

I know it's probably my hormones. So please remind me of all the rubbish parts of having a baby (or the wonderful parts about having kids so old they no longer need you!).

The other day my 2-month-old pooed while I was changing her with such force that it splattered onto my face. She's just had her rotavirus vaccine so it's extra yucky poo.

She then proceeded to spend the next 48 hours waking up after 30 minutes every time she went to sleep.

They wreck your body, then they wreck your house, then they eat all your food and hog the remote control. I'd still have another one in a heartbeat though.

Mine is one and still doesn’t sleep through the night.

When he was a newborn I had to walk 10k a day (while recovering from a c-section) to get him to nap

It has taken me 8 attempts to get presents wrapped in the brief windows when he naps

I was almost suicidal with sleep deprivation at one point

My house perpetually looks like a toys r us has been ransacked
