They are as big and as gorgeous as you like. Where are they and what do they look like? All mortgage free.

But you just have three in total. Only 3.

You can have a house anywhere in the world and people are choosing Tenby???

CovidCorvid · 21/12/2021 07:24

I used to live in Tenby, it’s very nice. Grin

Beautiful detached house near where I live now.

Flat in central London, Regent's Park maybe.

Chalet in Switzerland.

zafferana · 21/12/2021 09:42

I was interested to see if DH's three were different to mine - they're totally different! His would be:

  • ski chalet in Switzerland
  • beach house with boat in Miami
  • somewhere in Hawaii

Yes, I like spending my imaginary lottery win as well.

And this will sound crazy, but I sometimes imagine I can have five magical doors in my house which open out onto anywhere I want in the world. So I can step out of my house onto a tropical beach, or a street in Venice for example. No one else can see or use the doors, so they can’t wander into my house. But I can only have five.

I sometimes spoil this game for myself by worrying that the police will stop me and demand to see my visa. Perhaps I could render myself invisible if that happened?

A cosy cottage in the Yorkshire Dales
An apartment in New York
A big house near the beach in Florida

Can I have a super yacht for one of mine?!

My old apartment in Lower Manhattan.

A lochside modernist property somewhere not too remote in central Scotland.
Same as the above but on Vancouver Island.

A cabin in Maine to ride all my horses.

A little house on a Mediterranean island where I can open the curtains in the morning and see the sea (this is my house and I never get tired of it)

A flat in Shad Thames A small holding in south Wales Somewhere by the sea.
Why Shad Thames? Interested as just been flat buying in London and I fancied Shad Thames but DH was a blanket no to the area.

New York loft but like proper lux with outside space, possibly helipad, all the priceless ornaments on the tables, and a butler.

Seville old town, but away from where they empty the cafe bins, with a swimming pool on the roof.

Lago atitlan massive ranch right on the lakeside, my own boat and staff, hammocks everywhere and a guitarist.
