You can have three properties anywhere in the world

They are as big and as gorgeous as you like. Where are they and what do they look like? All mortgage free.

But you just have three in total. Only 3.

Traditional house, but refurbished to a high standard, with pool, in Umbria or Tuscany
Bigger house with a garage near where I live now

Snailhaterz2 · 19/12/2021 19:44

Greek (or Croatian) island villa
Either central London or central Rome appartment

Waxonwaxoff0 · 19/12/2021 19:44

3 apartments, high up with big windows and views. One in central London, one in Manhattan, and one in Seoul. City life for me.

One near home in Belfast
One in Denmark near legoland (and the in-laws)
One in Florida preferably one of the Walt Disney world beach club villas - walking distance to the parks, convenience of being in the same site as hotel plus access to the pools and restaurants but with space to cook own meals also

@BiscuitLover3678 This is an excellent question that I have out to our family whatsapp group and need a little clarification on the rules.

  1. Can a yacht be a property?
  2. Can you time share with someone to get an extra property each?
MarshaBradyo · 19/12/2021 19:47

Actually I’m going to swap NYC for South of France

nanabow · 19/12/2021 19:47

Carmel in California
West Wittering in Sussex
My current home

bengalcat · 19/12/2021 19:48

Mittenmob · 19/12/2021 19:48

One in central London so I can catch a show

One in Cornwall for ice cream and fish and chip fancies

A yacht definitely counts!

Ooh go on then.

A beach house somewhere in SE Asia. With a boat. I have never sailed but I will learn
A ranch somewhere in America. With horses. I have never ridden but I will learn
A villa somewhere in the Med. This will be where I chill out so I won't set myself any challenges

bestdhever · 19/12/2021 19:52

@cleaning247 why Trinidad? I lived there for 4 years so I'm intrigued?

@BiscuitLover3678 are these as well as our own home or including?..
Mine would be
Ireland
New York
Bequia

SantiagoSky · 19/12/2021 19:52

London, Zurich, Venice

Covidclaire · 19/12/2021 19:52

If I have these three properties I’m assuming I’m filthy rich and can stay in a hotel whenever I’m in London. In which case:

Massive brownstone on the UES in NYC. This will be my primary residence.

Villa in the Caribbean. Probably Barbados or St Lucia.

Chalet in the Alps. Maybe Verbier.

When I want to go to the Med I’ll have my yacht swing by.

AdoptedBumpkin · 19/12/2021 19:55

This is hard. One would be in the UK, to be able to visit family fairly easily. I'd tempted by the south of France, in a rural area, somewhere comfortable but not too big. For the third one, maybe the Carribbean, but I need to think more.

Only 3 properties in total, so includes your own home (which you can obviously sell or upgrade).

Oh and you are on current salary/lifestyle. You just now own 3 properties outright. Doesn't include current Home though, sorry.
