You can have three properties anywhere in the world

They are as big and as gorgeous as you like. Where are they and what do they look like? All mortgage free.

But you just have three in total. Only 3.

A townhouse on Doughty Street in Bloomsbury.

A villa with pool and grounds near Vaison la Romaine or Bedoin in Provence.

An apartment in New York. Perhaps Midtown?

MissM2912 · 19/12/2021 23:54

Ireland, london, key west

Groovytiger · 20/12/2021 00:00

Would have to be:
(1) near Jardins de Luxembourg in Latin Quarter in Paris
(2) on Lake Naivasha in Kenya
(3) Near the East River in New York, close to the TriBeCa Bridge

Groovytiger · 20/12/2021 00:01

Queensborough Bridge, not TriBeCa!

Thursa · 20/12/2021 00:16

Somewhere on the Scottish coast.
Rome
Munich

Beautiful white double-fronted Georgian house in the West Country

Simple house near a white sand beach on a tropical island, perhaps on Fiji

Colourful wooden house in Bhutan, with amazing views of the Himalaya. Could be in Paro or Punakha Valley

RhubarbFairy · 20/12/2021 01:15

Home - UK

Austrian ski chalet/apartment

Villa in Greece with direct beach access

Bloodybridget · 20/12/2021 06:30

@MegBusset glad to see someone else had chosen three properties in the UK - I was feeling very unadventurous, but I wouldn't want to own somewhere that I couldn't get to within a few hours by car.

blackteaplease · 20/12/2021 06:43

Hmm, this is a tough one. I think I would have one in London. One in Cornwall with a sea view and direct access to the beach and one in the mountains where I can ski (any country, I'm not fussy).

ufucoffee · 20/12/2021 06:47

I'd have the Malibu house that was on the last series of selling sunset, I'd have a mega expensive house or flat in London (just for weekends) and I'd have one somewhere in Spain near a beach and somewhere with nightlife. Sorted.

Underthestairsbears · 20/12/2021 07:15

A beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds with a massive kitchen, roaring fires, Labrador, 6-8 bedrooms. This would be our main house.

A villa in Kefalonia, with pool and near the beach. Possibly near Fiskado or Argostoli.

A city pad - probably in Paris with great views and close to great quirky little restaurants.

Imdreamingofapeacefulxmas · 20/12/2021 08:22

Either large apartment old style or house Holland Park or primrose Hill area London.

Probably something in cotswolds or near Brighton

Possibly south of France, antibes.

rifling · 20/12/2021 08:25

Can I have three in Italy?
One in the city where I live, but nicer!
One mountain chalet in the Dolomites.
One Tuscan villa with pool, in the hills near Siena.

rifling · 20/12/2021 08:26

I would definitely use all of them and could also let friends and relatives holiday there!

Carmel

New york

Are you my sister?
IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 20/12/2021 08:34

West coast of Scotland, remote mainland though, not an island.

Yorkshire Dales

British Columbia

FilterFrog · 20/12/2021 08:55

My final list is
Central London
North Norfolk Coast
Beach house (with pool) in Barbados

I was very tempted by a ski chalet too (I haven’t skied since I was a teen, but I imagine that the multi luxury home owing version of myself is rather good at it) so if anyone is with a lovely chalet wants to enter an annual house swap arrangement with me and my beach house I would be very interested Grin

HotChoc10 · 20/12/2021 09:23

Townhouse in Bloomsbury or Hampstead
Chalet in the Alps
Big gorgeous villa with a pool in the South of France or Italy

steppemum · 20/12/2021 09:32

cottage on a cliff in cornwall, walking distance to village and sandy beach, and coast path. Big enough for friends and family, but still have cosy cottage feel.

current house, but I get to spend abotu £30,000 doing the things I want, new furniture, new patio etc etc.

hmm, third one... somewhere warm, and easy to fly to, but not too long journey. Spain maybe? BUT this house gets to change veyr 3 years. So 3 holidays there and then it is sold and new house bought somewhere completely different. I'll work my way round Europe first, and then see

Sn0tnose · 20/12/2021 11:00

A flat in Shad Thames
A small holding in south Wales
Somewhere by the sea.
