I should be wrapping pressies but today has been a really lazy day as I’m due for a Vit B12 injection & feel crappy. We were booked to go & see the lights at The Eden Project but gave it a miss. DH watching a 2nd World War documentary & I’m gearing up to venture out into the cold to put the bunnies to bed. DD13 lurking in her room as per. We’ve had a few run ins with her today; she always takes at least a couple of days to adjust to being on holiday. Easy tea later of fishfingers, chips & beans.

Just had takeaway pizza abd everyone is getting ready for bed except ds11 who is still out with a friend.

Husband and I have had a lazy day - he hoovered my car, I hoovered and mopped indoors, changed the bed and did the washimg. Just made spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread for tea, and now he's watching a film

Honestly sounds kinda similar to us.

Kids are on computers and chatting with friends. Me and DH have been wrapping gifts and doing some much needed house work.

DD's are upstairs playing on their computers and DH is getting ready for bed for a 2am shift. I'm waiting on the dryer for the last load of washing and took the recycling out ready for bin collection. Basic dinner tonight of bubble and squeak from lunch so I've lit some candles and popped Netflix on to chill.

I’m about to have yummy steak and chips with a blue cheese sauce, and a nice glass of wine. Have persuaded DH to watch Love Actually with me tonight as I haven’t watched it yet this year (I know it’s controversial!). I’ve wrapped presents and sorted some stuff out today so feeling like it’s been productive 😀

DH is eating Panettone and I’ve cracked open a box of Baci. We’re going to have an early night because DD is staying overnight in her girlfriends house

I've just baked a huge batch of gingerbread biscuits and have now sneaked off upstairs for a hot shower, pyjamas and a spot of mumsnetting.

DH had surgery on Friday and is feeling rough so is in bed sleeping. 18 month old DS is staying with his Grandparents tonight and my 28 week pregnant self is slumped on the sofa, half watching an episode of GBBO that I recorded, drinking hot chocolate and contemplating if I can be bothered making anything to eat or whether I should just order something in.

Quiet day here too. I had a much needed lie-in until 8am(!) as DS (12 weeks) was up a lot last night. Made pancakes for breakfast with DD (3) then went for a walk in the foggy woods and had tea and cake at MIL’s house. Watched a Disney film, iced the Christmas cake and made some snowflakes to decorate it. Vegan sausages and mash for tea. I’m now sitting in a dark bedroom with the baby asleep in my arms and DD asleep in bed. Going to head back downstairs and have a festive drink and mince pie once I’m sure she’s fast asleep. Life is very slow at the moment.

I'm about to repair a hole under the arm on a jumper dd1 has acquired, then pick up my crochet. I have Buffy on in the background & my favourite candle burning.

My friend owns an air bnb we are staying in, we’ve just had takeaway pizza and shortly we will be heading into the hot tub. I’ve also had some full fat coke in a glass bottle - it is Christmas

Kids are in bed. Just making DH and I dinner then I’m going to play roller coaster Tycoon and feel sorry for myself with booster side effects

Wrapped presents while DH went Xmas shopping for my presents. DS1 worked on his car and then watched football on telly. I'm currently at station waiting to pick DS2 up from station as he's actually been lucky enough to go to the Spurs game, and they didn't lose so he will be happy

DH has gone to France to count Viagra (don't ask ). Dd has had a friend round but is now studying for her last exam tomorrow - then she's finished for Xmas. I am cooking a raspberry flavoured boudin noir and supposed to be getting some work done (want to finish on Tuesday) but keep procrastinating and have Phil and Kirstie on in the background.

We have finally decorated the tree. I am thinking about having a glass of wine.

Spent most of the day wrapping pressies while the kids were at Grandma's. Took a big effort as I've got an awful ear infection which just won't clear off and I feel rubbish. Tonight will be a film & box of chocs with DH.

My dad has just left with Christmas presents- one which my dog had tried to open 🙄
Tea is cooking - partner's birthday so made him his favourite.
Finished my book for the children regards the famous beagle of alderley edge.
Need to finish wrapping presents and decorate 2 cakes
And clean the house. I have 2 days off between now and Christmas Day

Looked after 4 month old, 2 and 5 year old all day, badly as had no sleep last night...met basic needs food, warmth not much mental stimulation and no outdoors although I did try at one point. Husband been at work since 3.30am no idea how late home. Hate December and hate it when baby won’t sleep well! Hoping they are all in bed soon and so will I be! Fingers crossed tomorrow is slightly better although booster in afternoon so.....😫

We went to a little 2nd bday party this afternoon so DC are sugared up to their eyeballs. DH has just gone out to an axe throwing/fire pit night- with a free bar. What can go wrong? Currently Cocomelon is on and they're fighting over a Hot Wheels car.
So I’m mustering the strength to get DC’s bathed and in bed. Then I’ve got my sites on bed before 9 myself…

Ds is feeling grotty so he stayed home with me i stead of going to the footy and we watched Christmas movies and had a nap.

We had seafood pasta for tea and now I'm watching The Holiday whilst browsing the Vans websites.

DH is playing some shit on the xbox in the back room and ds is feeling a bit better and is playing with lego next to dh.

He's usually glued to a screen but I said if he was staying home from the footy that meant to YouTube or Switch.

I daren't breath, speak to him or look in his direction as he's playing so nicely and it makes such a nice change.

I'm contemplating a Baileys and wishing I'd bought Quality Street.

DS is in the bath after a birthday party this afternoon. Hopefully the disco dancing will have tired him out enough that he sleeps.

DH is washing up downstairs. I am contemplating an early night as last night was a late one and the next four days of work are going to be full on.
