I'm just drinking my usual cup of tea, in silence. There's no noise apart from the fridge humming to itself! Absolute bliss.

I need to do some washing, wash up last night's pots and put out the recycling.

We're going to have a wander to Asda for sweets to decorate the gingerbread house, baking ingredients, and some food for the next few days. I've run down the freezer ready for the Christmas shop but seem to have forgotten that we actually need to eat before then

Later on, I plan to carry on with my crochet project, and the girls wanted to make mince pies 😋

What's everyone else up to?

In bed with baby asleep on me! Dh is cooking a fry up and older two (2 and 5) watched home alone 2 in bed with me and biscuits and now are actually playing nicely in their room!!!
Later we are going to big play farm to see santa in a winter wonderland! I'm hopeful it will continue to be a lovely day for us and all of you too! We deserve it, even if santa will be behind a screen!

Currently sat in the car with DH driving on the way to a weekend away at a theme park with the kids. It was cancelled last December so we've waited a while for this trip and the kids have no idea where we're going so I'm excited to get there!
Just need to survive another hour and a half in the car while the DC try to kill each other in the back

Just slept 13 hours straight after a lot of napping yesterday. Booster the day before.

Kids are shattered after a busy term so we are having a duvet day. Will do a bit of laundry but thats it. Not going near any shops now.

I stayed in bed until 10am, it was bliss. Although I have a massive headache.
Going to church this morning, then home for lunch and watching the Christmas programme of my church back home.

In the afternoon I need to get a few more Christmas cards and buy an alarm clock as my phone has been randomly shutting off overnight, and I can’t miss my 4am alarm tomorrow for an early flight.

Then I’ll be at work 5-11pm and will need to pack for the holiday when I get back. I sorted all forms and QR codes yesterday, that was a good decision. Can’t wait to finally see my family tomorrow!

Just enjoying a quick cup of coffee in my hotel bed before meeting DD1 and having a browse around the Christmas market in Norwich. Then driving us home, followed by putting the Christmas tree up, followed by a movie + take out tonight.

Good morning, lucysmam, or, as a Twitter friend says, ''ning''! I'm at work at the moment, it's only 9:36 am and dead quiet out there for a bit so am having a quick 5 minutes away from the brain numbing databases!

I did the washing up at 12:08am, hair, shorts and t-shirt a total mess while hubby was snoring his head off, he said this morning he thinks that our neighbour, gorgeous 94 year old Marion sneaked through the keyhole and did it!

Once closing our shop at 4 we're off to Morrisons as I've run out of yoghurts...I basically live on them!... then once back home I'll make hubby and myself mugs of tea and get dinner going, cheese on toast for him and chips and curry sauce with peas for me!

Then we'll just bum around, read, have a game of either Cat-Opoly or Monopoly and crash to bed with hot water bottles...huggybots as we call them...and not give a elf on the shelf's wotsits what time we get up tomorrow morning!

I am being a Wise Person in a living nativity today! Then we'll go to a Carol service at the cathedral.

Currently enjoying some YouTube with my 2&3 year olds while I wait for DH to get out the shower.

Baked some sugar cookies yesterday and Planning to make up some icing as soon as DH is out the shower so the little ones can decorate those this morning.

We’ve got our booster this afternoon so my mum is coming to watch the little ones. Will leave them with some of their freshly iced biscuits and a film while we’re out.

DH is out tonight for a curry with his friends so I’m Planning to watch whatever I like (thinking of finally starting the wheel of time on prime) and enjoy a nice chilled evening. Might wrap the DC presents. Only missing one gift for our 9 year old so might as well get started!

6yo is isolating pending a PCR result.

We did paper, rock scissors to see who does what and today I'm doing the indoor chores and DP is doing the outdoor chores (post office, grab a few gifts, canal walk with the kids who are not isolating)

Im going to dig out all the Christmas pyjamas and bedding.

We'll settle kids down for a festive film before bed and probably watch something ourselves later. Chinese for dinner (kids have freezer surprise )

Had a much needed sleep in until 9. Need to go to Aldi for big shop but I bet it'll be rammed. Sometime this weekend we will be going Xmas light watching. We drive around looking at Xmas lights and we get a happy meal in the car. Tradition. May do that tonight or tomorrow night.

Need to get washing done and some housework before Xmas as I'm working all week after tomorrow until Xmas Eve at 4pm.

MNing in bed by the window, listening to the pigeons coo next door & the distant hoot of a steam train.

Cats have breakfasted already so I’m relaxing until they require lunch.

Fakemas today - 17 of us (all lateral flowed) getting together for full blown Xmas dinner and festivities. Gotta get the turkey in soon!

Slow start here as out last night. Had a lovely catch up earlier with DD who came home for Xmas last night.

Am off to see FIL 92 and sort him some lunch and facilitate a video call with my DH who won’t be home for Xmas.
Hoping the kids will put the tree on the stand and decorate it this afternoon.
My parents will be round for dinner later so just prep/shop for that.
Bar the tree a normal Saturday here

My daughter and I are off to see Spider-Man this afternoon and I better walk the dogs before we go but I've just climbed back in to bed after breakfast. My son (he doesn't live with us) has already done a session at the gym and is now at work - a mens clothing shop so expects to be busy.
After the film back here for dinner and a Christmas movie.

Watching the cricket in bed with DH and drinking tea plus sending a few messages to friends. Putting DS new headboard together this afternoon, dropping recycling at recycling centre and sorting out conservatory. DS GF is back from University so she is coming over tonight, she hadn’t tried authentic Chinese food until coming to our house. She loves it so I’m cooking a few dishes, I found out recently that when she met DS and asked if he was Chinese he said no, he is very obviously mixed race.

Morning everyone - we’ve been up since 7:30am. DS (age 2) has wrecked absolute chaos in my livingroom. I have so much washing to put away and plenty housework to keep me busy. Partner is at work - will possibly pop to Tesco for a foodshop. I still need to get a few bits and bobs for Christmas - postie seems to be holding a lot of parcels hostage as none have arrived 😂🤦🏼‍♀️. I hope you all have a lovely weekend xx

Hope everyone has a lovely day. Just about to go off to the farmers market for the Christmas ham and some other nice food bits, pottering about at home this afternoon sorting and cleaning ahead of the big week! Then strictly with the Christmas lights on, and maybe a takeaway curry. The past couple of weekends have been quite hectic so it’s nice to have a quiet time at home.

I'm just currently sat baking (having my hair done for the first time in 6 months). DCs at home with DH. Once I'm done here then I'm going to pick DD up and we're going to town to do the last of Christmas shopping. If I can afford it I will also have my nails done.
We had covid a couple of weeks ago so I'm very behind and unorganised.
Later we will all eat together, watch strictly and then I will rope DH into Christmas wrapping. DH is going to take DS for a haircut. The Rotary Club are in the village so hopefully DS will see santa too.
Tomorrow is the annual charity tractor run through a local village/town so we will probably go and watch that. I will finish all the uniform washing and hang everything away and start getting ready for our trip to deepest darkest North wales to my grandfather for christmas. That will include doing a tip run and a charity shop donation to empty the boot of the big car!

I’m supposed to be wrapping DH’s presents while he’s at work. What I’m actually doing is watching Harry Potter, looking at videos of cute puppies on You Tube and considering going back to bed with the worst cold I’ve ever had (negative tests).

Currently building the strength to get going.
I was working til 11 last night, didn’t get to bed til midnight so DP had this kids and I had a lie in til 9. Heaven.
He’s taken both the kids out to the park and Maccas for lunch, then to Asda so I can sort the house. We moved counties 3 weeks ago and we’ve both started new jobs so verything is chaos. I just need a few good hours to sort things. Just finishing my brew and I’ll crack on.
Have promised DS he can watch a film this afternoon with popcorn, DP is on tea making duties tonight as I’m not working and I usually make tea, and once the kids are in bed I’ll be drinking wine and watching a soppy film I think!

Not much planned today. Dh is working until 4pm. Dd1 is going out with friends later, dd2/3 still in bed.

Got laundry to do and making a roast this evening. Just sitting in my dressing gown at the moment with my stomach in knots thinking of forthcoming booster jab in a couple of hours.

Making lots of sausage rolls, DP has gone for Covid booster. DD gone shopping. Oh and I have a Chinese ordered for tonight for the SCD final.
