Just that really.
Although hot water seems to be running cold so may have to drag self out. Plus may be dehydrating/shrinking. And need a wee.
Also very amusing trying to type with washer woman fingers.
Anyone beat that?
Mumsnet record?
Plus I really want the comment of how disgusting/lazy/insert mumsnet batshittery I am

Haven't even got around to washing my hair. Just wallowed. Like a wobbly wallowy thing.

That's a fairly normal length bath for me! Record is three and a half hours but I guarantee someone else has me beaten.

Obviously I only bath after my DD is in bed!

DukeofEarlGrey · 13/12/2021 22:47

I’m impressed OP. I love a long bath but can’t beat that. And I like the way you revel in it. Suggest you top up the hot water and stay put!

Builtthiscityonsausagerolls · 13/12/2021 22:49

Three and a half hours you say?
Well that seems a legit life goal

I live in the bath, given half a chance. I'll watch films, read books, eat my tea. I'm like a hippopotamus.

DirtyDancing · 13/12/2021 22:51

Actually eat a flake in it. That's one life goal I feel monumentally proud of having achieved.

Whywonttheyletmeusemyusername · 13/12/2021 22:51

Lol at wobbly wallowy thing Grin. I love a good long hot bath. The longer the better. Plus it keeps me away from DH for a bit longer Grin

Builtthiscityonsausagerolls · 13/12/2021 22:55

I hour 53 minutes..
Flake is good. Not sure how to eat tea. Do you need one of those over bath tray things like Pa Larkin? Can I train cat to top up drinks?

HarrietOh · 13/12/2021 22:55

I can easily spend 2 hours in the bath on a weekend! I love it. Top up with more hot when needed.

RedDingDongMerrily · 13/12/2021 22:58

Are you stuck? I took a bath for the first time in years and had to roll onto my knees to get out of the thing Grin I’m getting better at it, less oils helps

Builtthiscityonsausagerolls · 13/12/2021 22:58

I've washed my face claps self for being so productive

I’m a weirdo who loves the idea of a bath but can’t cope with more than 10 minutes once I’m in it. I get fidgety and need out Grin

DrMadelineMaxwell · 13/12/2021 23:00

Snap Mary. The idea seems nice, but I get bored and fed up really quickly.

Lindy2 · 13/12/2021 23:02

A lovely long relaxing bath is good for the soul.

Enjoy and don't feel at all guilty.

My only problem with a long bath is that I use the fingerprint sensor as the password on my phone and when my fingers go too wrinkly the sensor doesn't recognise the fingerprint.

Everything I top up I'm adding whatever is at hand. Oil, bubble bath, tea tree and something that is in a travel bottle that I dug out as thought it was expensive perfume creme bath thing, but smells suspiciously like head and shoulders. Haven't tried getting out yet.... the knee roll is a good tip

Last year of uni I lived in an icy flat with seemingly endless hot water that I didn't pay for. Spent most evenings in the bath revising/drinking wine. No one shrieking that they urgently need the loo (DD2 I'm looking at you). The peace. I was in the bath listening to world service when princess di crashed, I think. And there was a mouse who wandered in and out.

BlooBagoo · 13/12/2021 23:05

I did the same thing earlier. The water was so hot when I got in that it lasted nicely the whole time without needing topped up.

My longest was probably around 3 hours. I read an entire book while I was in there. Grin

Rexthesnail · 13/12/2021 23:10

I once dropped the kids off, got home, got in the bath and stayed there until an hour before pick up time, about 4.5 hours. It was great, just kept topping up the water and playing on my phone/reading

Builtthiscityonsausagerolls · 13/12/2021 23:11

2 hours 10 minutes and I'm afraid the limitations of my bladder have forced me out.
Feel supberbly relaxed though. If a touch wrinkly

That is amazing! I'm going to pencil in an afternoon to do just that!

I bought an extra unit so that I can put my laptop on it and watch netflix - may possibly have binge watched a few series whilst topping up the hot water...

RedDingDongMerrily · 13/12/2021 23:14

OP with that amount of product you are doomed unless you have a body scrub mitt to hand for some grip. I don’t attempt a bath without one on after the slip n slide incident.

DukeofEarlGrey · 13/12/2021 23:42

This thread has made me feel like such an amateur.

OhGiveUp · 13/12/2021 23:53

Anything up to 3 hours for me as I tend to fall asleep in it.
I love a snooze in a hot bath.

Mudflaps · 13/12/2021 23:54

Fabulous jacuzzi bath in hotel room during honeymoon (the Luxor, Vegas), spent so long walking around in the heat I fell asleep in bath, new husband fell asleep on bed, over a hour later he woke me shouting we'll be late for Cher, right then I really wanted to forget about Cher but he wanted to go out. In all honesty it wasn't really worth leaving that bath.

Cocopogo · 13/12/2021 23:55

Surely it goes cold after half an hour tops
