Was the cheese grilled? I have recently taken up grilled stilton on toast (like normal cheese on toast, but stilton), it's amazing! So much better (and I was a big cheese on toast fan anyway).

Is it Blue or plain Stilton ?

Splendid. I too have just scoffed some Blue Stilton but with crackers rather than crumpets. And Sauvignon Blanc.
