How do you get a grip? Grin

I watched a series with a very handsome looking man in and can't stop googling him and looking at pics.

Someone told me off earlier for something and I felt like he was watching me. I felt all embarrassed Blush

I'm a married woman with 2 DC....

Spit it out then, who is this bloke? 🤔

bellissimiaow · 11/12/2021 11:08

Is it Tom Hardy? I like to obsess about him.

SmellyOldOwls · 11/12/2021 11:10

Of course. I fancy Poldark and Tommy Shelby, doesnt everyone?? Borders on obsession when I'm actually watching the series then drifts off into almost nothing a week or two later.

I'm in my 50's and I'm always getting crushes , never mind my nearly 40 year one on Harrison Ford sigh ..............

bellissimiaow · 11/12/2021 11:10

I think it's absolutely fine as long as you don't go on about it and it's not Boris Johnson. Anyone else is ok, enjoy yourself!

lookforthespace · 11/12/2021 11:11

Thanks, I didn't know a 'crush' was a thing. Haven't felt so silly about someone since I was about 15 Grin

His name is Park, from Squid Game strangely enough. I wasn't going to watch it but someone said I should, it's good! And I did... then I saw him 😮

If your lucky you will have a dream about him. I still remember fondly my Peter Capaldi dream which led to me watching all of The Thick Of It, much to the bewildered delight of my then teenage DS who had been trying to get me to watch it for ages Smile

DropYourSword · 11/12/2021 11:18

I got a ridiculous crush on a contestant in Australian Lego Masters for a few months. Totally over it now and kind of laugh at the idea looking back on it.
It’s funny what our brains do sometimes!!

lookforthespace · 11/12/2021 11:20

You've sold me a dream now! Please let it be so

@DropYourSword I've never heard of that programme, maybe you do stand more of a chance if it isn't such a popular celeb? Grin

Oh he is quite good looking.

You can wean yourself off a celebrity crush by looking at out of character photos of them. Example, I really fancied the lead guy from The English Game (until I saw photos of him off set.

At least it's just TV. I have a work crush.

Mrsfrumble · 11/12/2021 11:25

Ooooh, is he the police officer character? I don’t blame you, he’s lovely! Grin

I’m a bit in love with Adam Driver. I’m not even sorry.

lookforthespace · 11/12/2021 11:28

@BrightonOrLancaster I'm sure he's a lovely bloke but his eyes look oddly close together in that picture out of character

@lookforthespace
Yeah he's nice. I also think the recruiter was sexy

I think his name is Hae-soo, and Park is his surname. He's definitely very good looking!

lookforthespace · 11/12/2021 11:36

@BrightonOrLancaster Yeah he very much is, I think the recruiter is a popular model in South Korea

SmellyOldOwls · 11/12/2021 11:40

I mean he's no Poldark but whatever Grin

DontKnowWhatToThink7 · 11/12/2021 11:45

Totally understand why you have a crush on him tbh. The character is an arsehole but I'm sure he is lovely in real life

EatSleepRantRepeat · 11/12/2021 11:52

I watched Love Actually again last night and my Andrew Lincoln crush is back with a vengeance. I'm not into zombies so find the Walking Dead quite boring, sadly!

Cassini · 11/12/2021 12:05

If you want help diluting your crush then head over to one of Mumsnet's longest running threads MsLattesDybekCyberCafe when a bunch of us watch Korean and other Asian dramas and have lists of Age Appropriate Oppas as a helpful guide 😉

RodneyIsDave · 11/12/2021 12:33

Richard Armitage is divinely beautiful. I love him. I’m 48 and I don’t care 🥰

dubyalass · 11/12/2021 13:38

I thought I was dead inside until I saw Lord Fallon in Harlots. Bloody hell. Ben Lambert is quite pretty IRL too.

Negligee · 11/12/2021 13:40

I think Lee Jung-Hae who played the lead is way more attractive.

Leftbutcameback · 11/12/2021 13:42

Apparently it's a very healthy thing - I miss my work crushes (who never look as good on zoom Wink)
