What “popular” tv shows could you never get into?

I remember reading all the hype on tiger king so thought I would give it a go. I could not get into it. At all. I think I gave it 3 episodes before I said fuck it and switched it off

The walking dead. Now annoyingly I really enjoyed this at first. Then the story went off from zombies and started focusing more on the “bad people” and I got fed up. I think the last episode I ever watched before I decided enough was enough was when Karl got bit.

Oh yeah, The Catherine Tate Show and The Fast Show.
They had good moments and I think Catherine Tate is extremely talented... they're all really talented, for sure. But I couldn't quite 'get there' with those two shows. I sometimes wonder if the American in me gets in the way, even though I've lived over here all of my adult life!
I mean, it was Fawlty Towers and The Young Ones that made me want to move to the UK!

The Wire. Is it me or was there a lot of mumbling? I couldn't understand what the bloody hell was going on.

Schitts Creek, on paper I should love it but it just felt really formulaic.

Oh yeah, Fleabag. Watched one episode and really didn't get what the hype was about so didn't bother watching any more.

Breaking Bad and Dexter. I wanted to love them but I really didn’t.

Agree with Schitts Creek. Have watched the whole of season 1 and I barely raised a smile.

Did one episode of The Sopranos and couldn’t generate any enthusiasm for starting the second.

Ozark, did 3 or 4 episodes and gave up.

That new thing on Sky/Now - Landscapers - is getting huge critical acclaim but I thought it was awful and had to force myself to sit down and see how wonderful it would become. It never did for me!

I've tried to watch it but just can't relate to any of the characters at all.

Normal People, it was like watching paint dry with the odd shot of a penis thrown in.
Motherland, I was expecting hilarity but it's just cringy.

Car Share was utter garbage. Couldn't get into Peaky Blinders at all. Hated that comedy show The Royales. Also Top Gear like watching paint dry.
