Want to go somewhere different but also easy to get to. Any recommendations?

Who is going? What's your budget?

AngeloMysterioso · 07/12/2021 21:45

How quirky are we talking?

What do you define as quirky? I went to a fun little Jamaican restaurant in Brick Lane last week, but that might not be right for you!

Titsywoo · 07/12/2021 21:49

Inamo is fun

Us and 2 x 17 year olds
Bit of a lively atmosphere
Different food
Maybe entertainment or music

Saw Circus...that's what made me think of if there were any others

I was going to suggest Dans Le Noir but that might be a bit too quirky…

Circus is good, Bunga Bunga is similar
Also:
The Pianoworks in Farringdon for live music
The Sky Garden brasserie for the views
Bob Bob Ricard for the champagne button
Circolo Popolore for Instagram pretty

Sketch for def we went this year and it’s amazing.
We also did the ivy and Inamo last year and dishoom and the sky garden this year.
But sketch definately had the edge.

MavisMonkey · 07/12/2021 22:09

Oh and I always used to really like Wong Kei in Chinatown as the staff were famously rude 😁

SortCode · 07/12/2021 22:10

Inamo looks quirky for the teens...

Archipelago!

Imdreamingofapeacefulxmas · 07/12/2021 22:12

What about park row.
I've not been but its a Gotham bat man theme place but in a discreet way apparently as if you are in a real Gotham bar not a Disney type place?

IggyIggyIggy · 07/12/2021 22:14

Another vote for sketch, everyone likes it there

Titsywoo · 07/12/2021 22:52

Bunga bunga is fun if a bit weird Grin

PPCD · 07/12/2021 23:02

Inamo is dreadful and expensive. I wouldn't go back there.

SortCode · 07/12/2021 23:05

Sketch looks rather pricey Shock

Ooh I was going to say The Jam on Kings road too. I had no idea Dans le Noir was still going. I thought it had gone!
