This was me as well, but I was fat to begin with so its not unusual to weigh the same as before pregnancy. If that makes any sense.
FazedNotPhased · 07/12/2021 17:56

Oh OP. You've got to stop these threads. Focus on you and a healthy, positive relationship with your body and your child. It doesn't matter if other people put on two pounds or two hundred pounds.

fedup078 · 07/12/2021 17:56

@JingleJingleAllTheWay yeah I was ever so slightly overweight and then I think Iost lost weight when pregnant and it balanced out

Nellesbelles · 07/12/2021 18:04

I put on 3 stone in my pregnancy. I think that's quite a normal amount from the people I've spoken to about it so try not to worry too much

whitershadeofpale · 07/12/2021 18:06

The same for me. I put on a stone and was 3lb heavier than before I got pregnant the day after giving birth. 4 weeks later I’m 5lb lighter than pre-pregnancy. I was obese before getting pregnant though.

Sorry I was meant to quote @JingleJingleAllTheWay there.

3 stone with each pregnancy.

Cotswoldmama · 07/12/2021 18:07

I was 7 stone and gained 3 stone.

Bat96 · 07/12/2021 18:07

I was size 6 before pregnancy now I'm a size 12! I promise you once you have your baby you will not care.

firstimemamma · 07/12/2021 18:07

3 stone (9 up to 12)

Was back to 9 stone at 6 months postpartum with endless cake-eating / zero effort.

Am 6 months into my current pregnancy and put on 2.5 stone so far this time.

Cotswoldmama · 07/12/2021 18:09

Someone told me the slimmer you are the more you gain, I don't know how true that is. I lost a stone giving birth and by about a year was my pre pregnancy size/ weight. Trust in your body.

BleuJay · 07/12/2021 18:11

Around a stone with my first and and slightly more with my daughter although I lost any weight I had gained very quickly as I was breastfeeding and going for long walks with baby in the pram.

I’ve never been overweight so I guess it was easier for me to lose a few pounds.

BleuJay · 07/12/2021 18:12

When I was pregnant with my son I looked like a pickled onion on a stick!

Lauren0902 · 07/12/2021 18:14

I'm 22 weeks and I've already put on nearly 2st. I was overweight to begin with and haven't been eating for two or anything like that Confused

StruggleStreet · 07/12/2021 18:27

3 stone in last pregnancy, went from 9 to 12 stone. Almost 4 stone in my first pregnancy and started a stone heavier that time. Lost it within 6 months with just walking.

Mylittlepixie · 07/12/2021 18:45

First pregnancy i went from 8 stone to 10.5.
I managed to get down to 9st before getting pregnant again. 2nd time around i gained 3.5st and ended up at 12.5 Blush
It wasnt easy but i managed to get back to my normal weight by DC 2 second birthday Grin

I second that, I’ve just read your other threads.. depression, moving out of your mums, struggling with your weight..

Please don’t worry about your size, you grew an entire human being!

Tarne · 07/12/2021 18:57

8 st before pregnant, 10 st just before birth , 8 stone after birth and then having to eat a normal amount but drink loads of water to breastfeed successfully.

Too much fat is an endocrine disruptor, it is well known to increase the chances of miscarriage and stillbirth so best to eat normally but healthily for best outcomes for you and your baby Smile

RussianSpy101 · 07/12/2021 18:59
