Been into all of the rooms. No space behind doors.
Don't have a garage. Could be in the shed, I will check (don't know how it would get there, though).

Oh this happened to me once. Dh had decided to "service" it and it was in several pieces in the garage

No cupboards big enough.....

It's either under a pile of clothes or someone's knocked it over behind the settee, or in the porch because DH has hoovered his car...

It's sitting in the hall disguised by a pile of coats.

Did you hang a coat on it in the hall? Or a towel, if it's in a bedroom?

Did someone take it outside to hoover the car?

Could anyone else in the family have lent it to someone without telling you?

Is there a weird looking old lady hanging about in any of the rooms?

It's run off with the enormous rucksac I've been looking for all week.

Honestly how many places can there be?

Sorry, was collecting the kids from school.
Asked DH when I got home, half expecting him to know exactly where it was, but he is as puzzled as me.
Have bribed the kids to hunt for it now.
It's got to be here somewhere...

That was my immediate thought on reading the thread title too

It's ok!! My Ds found it 👍. It was hiding under my dh's work clothes, he'd hung them over the handle and they were blocking the entire upright section. There was a bag over the bottom part so completely hidden.
