I am sorting my house out before Christmas....

I have decided that I am having a good sort out of every room, and clean it. I've been so busy with work, kids and my mental health that the cleaning has been on the back burner.
So far, I have done the main hallway (coats/shoes etc) and the conservatory. Hoping if I put it on here, I'll have some accountability!

I'm so behind with this, impressed by all your progress. I can't put the baby down for a minute just now so clean dishes/clothes and occasional meals is my priority...

I wrote my 'alternative advent calendar' with 24 decluttering things on it but we're 8 days into December and they are all still on there... It may spill into January!

We're doing ok, I'm still negative on a LFT thankfully.
A few days in, I am extremely pleased with what I did do, as keeping on top of things is a bit easier, despite us all being home at the moment! It's also given me the opportunity on catching up on my laundry!

Laundry! I hate that word!
On going here, aim to reach the bottom of the laundry by Friday!

Christmas tree is coming down from the attic tomorrow! Still a bit ongoing.

@MushMonster all good here. DH has spent the day putting decorations up, and it's decidedly more festive!

Waiting for son to come home from university to decorate the tree but did finish everything else today

I also ordered some help from a confidential shredding service. We had years and years worth of old paper work. It was amazing to get rid of it.

I am sorting my art gallery. I am expecting some relatives to visit my house and especially my gallery which is in the basement of my house. I have sorted and installed all the frames and hanging clips and hooks by myself.

Christmas tree is up!
House is tidy!
Laundry is almost done!
Take away is on its way!
Ready for the 12 days countdown to Christmas!
( I hate the cold, dark, wet days till the Christmas break!)

How is everyone doing after the Christmas rush is now over? I'm slowly getting the house back into order, but it's slow going without the motivation of Christmas!
