1 x banana - perfect
3 x satsumas

1 x cycling helmet
1 x woolly hat
1 x asthma inhaler

Thank you to DH for the latter three items.

Thatsplentyjack · 29/11/2021 22:12

Got rid of it, it was taking up precious surface space.

TheGirlWhoLived · 29/11/2021 22:13

Fruit bowl 1) 4 bananas, 6 gala apples, 5 easy peelers and 2 dodgy looking pears.
Fruit bowl 2) 3 limes, a lemon, and a pineapple!

TheGirlWhoLived · 29/11/2021 22:14

Grapes, blueberries and pomegranate seeds in the fridge. Fruit bowl has gaps in though so hair bobbles have fallen through to the table below

noblegreenk · 29/11/2021 22:14

6 bananas, 5 satsumas and an apple. I also have raspberries and blueberries in the fridge.

whateveritwilltake · 29/11/2021 22:14

Omeprazole, assorted keys, an Allen key, a washer, a portable charger, 57p, an LFC pride badge. We're more veg eaters in our house Grin

The car keys

ISpyCobraKai · 29/11/2021 22:40

Bettybantz
Surely the car keys go in the cutlery drawer?

SockFluffInTheBath · 29/11/2021 22:47

Been shopping tonight so it’s topped up.

Bananas, oranges, clementines, some red grapefruit, and a pineapple. Apples always go in the fridge with the grapes.

Bloodybridget · 29/11/2021 22:49

I think just four bananas and a couple of apples.

JurgensCakeBaby · 29/11/2021 22:52

Half a dozen Clementines, 4 bananas, a honeydew melon, an avocado (I dither between fruit bowl and fridge neither seems to be helpful in terms of ripeness) and a Playmobil lifeboat

Handoverthechocollate · 29/11/2021 22:55

One banana and 2 little easy peelers

wertheppl · 29/11/2021 23:01

6 apples, 5 bananas, 6 sweet clems. 2 honeydew melons next to it and some grapes in fridge too.

Tobogganist · 29/11/2021 23:08

4 Macintosh reds.

LadyAddle · 29/11/2021 23:11

I would like to see the cats too

Vbree · 29/11/2021 23:12

A few easy peelers and a sweet potato that we couldn't find a home for.

OhGiveUp · 29/11/2021 23:13

No one in my house eats fruit.
However, I have a nice fruit bowl which contains two concrete pears, a concrete apple and some concrete apricots, which everyone thinks are real.

maofteens · 30/11/2021 04:47

Two overripe bananas, three apples and pack of tomatoes. Just threw out a fuzzy looking packet of grapes. I've recently moved and haven't yet unearthed my fruit bowl which is why some things are stored in their packets.
I'm not a big fruit eater - I eat more salads and veggies.

BarbaraofSeville · 30/11/2021 05:05

@DillDanding

Lemons and limes. This is all there ever is in there. We don't even use them, they just get replaced once a week.
Whaaat? You buy lemons and limes every week and just throw the old ones away? Why? @DillDanding

Our 'fruit bowl' is currently clean and in the cupboard. I don't eat much fresh fruit at home or might eat ready prepared, canned, frozen or dried or sometimes a melon or some berries which are kept in the fridge.

DP goes through phases of eating fruit so when he does, there might be some apples and bananas in there for him.

But he did use it for the prawn crackers from the Chinese takeaway the other day, and it will be used for the trifle at Christmas.

I'm impressed at the amount of fruit some people have in their fridges, do you have massive ones, fridges that is?

We have what I thought is a normal fridge freezer that always seems to be over full and the fruit and veg drawers are tiny, I'm in two minds whether to buy a new one as I want one with veg drawers that are big enough to keep a cauliflower in, now there's something to aspire to, but it's 23 years old and still works so I'm curious as to how long it will last if left to it's own devices.
