What is in your fruit bowl just now?

2 x pears (aged, no hope that anyone will eat)
1 x kiwi (starting to wrinkle)
1 x banana - perfect
3 x satsumas
1 x plum (do people even eat plums at this time of year?)
1 x cycling helmet
1 x woolly hat
1 x asthma inhaler

Thank you to DH for the latter three items.

Satsumas, apples, pears, oranges, bananas, guava, pineapple and garlic

A banana and a bramley apple. But I keep most fruit in the fridge so we also have a few sad looking red grapes, one orange, one satsuma and five clementines

Some bags of nuts.

The fruit is in the fridge. If we had any bananas they'd be in the bowl but everything else keeps better and tastes nicer cold.

Where else do you keep your fruit?

4 red onions, 2 white onions and a bag of shallots, a sweet potato, 2 aubergines, a pomegranate, 2 lemons and 1 like. Bowl of brown bananas next to it, manking up nicely for banana muffins tomorrow.

9 apples, including a couple that have definitely seen better days, six satsumas, 3 bananas and the peg bag. Like you OP I have Dh to thank for that.

I think that what you've got there is a vegetable bowl you have accidentally put a couple of bits of fruit in

Couple of tangerines and the contents of a handbag my daughter tipped out to borrow, so pens, makeup, and hair bands.

5 pears that after a week in the bowl are still too hard to eat. Won't buy them again as it's not the first time this has been the case with them.

Back to buying grapes and Gala apples tomorrow then.

I’m astonished that people keep vegetables in their fruit bowls - despite having pharmaceuticals and cycling equipment in mine

The only fruit I have is a kids bag of apple slices.
I am due to go shopping though tbf, but never buy whole fruit, just pre-cut bags/tubs.

a honeydew melon,
