What's the most comfortable pair of pants you've ever worn?

Thrilling topic I know. Wasn't really sure where to post either.

After years of never investing in decent pants I've decided my derrière deserves a treat.

So what's the best/most comfortable pair of pants you've ever owned?

Think I'd be looking for a fuller brief that covers c-section scars etc so not bikini style or thong.

Wirarpa Hi Waisted. Available in cotton, bamboo or modal. No roll down, no riding up! Available online.

HelloBunny · 26/11/2021 21:52

I always used to get Jockey / Playtex / GAP years ago, when they were good. I also wore Topshop / Miss Selfridge things back in my heyday...

Now, C-Section scar considered, it’s big pants only (okay, I wore them before the baby, too!). M&S, or TK Maxx for the American brands.

M&S Flexifit modal high rise shorts.

Sloggi, maxi pants, they don’t move

FindingMeno · 26/11/2021 22:07

M&S high rise

Littleants · 26/11/2021 22:08

Granny pants hands down. No backside flossing going on round here

HalfShrunkMoreToGo · 26/11/2021 22:10

What I was going to say

Stripe and Stare

PipeOfPringles · 26/11/2021 22:12

Gap Breathe, high-rise shorty. Light as anything, the high rise version good for C-section.

Obviously and totally inevitably, they have stopped making them. (You can get other fits in the same Breathe range)

SallySkelington · 26/11/2021 22:13

Huge 5 in a packet from M&S in a size bigger.... oh yeah!!

QuestionableMouse · 26/11/2021 22:14

M&S cotton ones with a bit of stretch. I trim the elastic off and they're super comfortable. They also don't fall down!

LunaLoveFood · 26/11/2021 22:15

M&s full brief, so comfy.

nocoolnamesleft · 26/11/2021 22:15

Sloggi.

goingtotown · 26/11/2021 22:16

Sloggi Maxi.

PriamFarrl · 26/11/2021 22:17

@LunaLoveFood

M&s full brief, so comfy.
Oh yes. Once you’ve gone full brief you will never go back.
RockinHorseShit · 26/11/2021 22:18

Another vote for sloggi

ofwarren · 26/11/2021 22:18

M&S full brief in a size bigger 😁

Hairbrush123 · 26/11/2021 22:22

M&S Autograph boxers (I am male)

GrrrlPwr · 26/11/2021 22:29

M&S midi 100% Egyptian cotton. From 20 years ago and they don't make em like that anymore!

Have been on a pants holy grail ever since.

Sloggi, too tight, too high, just horrible.
GAP excellent, no longer sold

Currently on John Lewis multipack cotton, pretty good. But not the holy grail of pants by any means

loveablequalities · 26/11/2021 22:34

M and S period pants. The ones with the lace bits.

NameChangeinHaste · 26/11/2021 22:41

M&S flexifit modal full briefs (or shorts - can’t remember which they are) but from before they changed the design. The ones I have have a very soft and stretchy leg hole. The new ones have a really wide seam on the leg hole and they’re not nearly as comfortable.
No idea why they messed around with the perfect design

OhWhyNot · 26/11/2021 22:49

M&S full brief

They don’t slip under my csection scar and a pad can fit comfortably in them

The days of uncomfortable knickers chafing my fanny are in the past

downtonupton · 26/11/2021 23:06

M&S high waist period pants
