What's the most comfortable pair of pants you've ever worn?

Thrilling topic I know. Wasn't really sure where to post either.

After years of never investing in decent pants I've decided my derrière deserves a treat.

So what's the best/most comfortable pair of pants you've ever owned?

Think I'd be looking for a fuller brief that covers c-section scars etc so not bikini style or thong.

I used to buy stretchy lace shorts from who made your pants. They’re not around any more but they were so comfy and I’ve been trying to find something like them for a few years but no luck. They were like m and s lace shorts but taller. No elastic anywhere so no digging in which was perfect for my eczema skin. I miss them!

JanglyBeads · 26/11/2021 23:47

Knickerbox - hardly any seams, v plain, in black and nude, never been bettered!

Alas they are no more (the pants nor the chain)!

Andrew2020 · 27/11/2021 06:55

Sloggi Tai high legs are the only thing I ever wear now. I had three c sections. They’re so comfortable!!

M&S full briefs, the style with an inch or so wide lace edge at the top as that makes the waistband extra comfy. And a size down from my jeans size there so they stay in place perfectly.

itoldyouyouwouldntlikeit · 27/11/2021 07:05

I got some high waisted ones made by radiant chaos. Love them

Rainbowshit · 27/11/2021 07:19

@downtonupton

I came on to post these too.
MiloAndEddie · 27/11/2021 07:23

Next ones with the stretchy waistband that say next on them

cherrytree63 · 27/11/2021 07:31

I see Sloggi recommended a lot on here, but the elastic cut into me, even when I sized up. Is there a certain Sloggi style that's better?
I have Decathlon Kalenji running knickers, really comfy, like a cheap version of Runderwear, but they've changed the material now so I'm back on the knicker search.

headintheproverbial · 27/11/2021 08:08

Sloggi here too.

Tarriance · 27/11/2021 08:13

I used to get the M&S No VPL Microfibre Midi Knickers but last time I bought them I felt like it was a different and not as nice fabric

FindingMeno · 27/11/2021 08:33

I realise seeing it mentioned here that having had sections makes a difference to a lot of women in what underwear is comfortable.
It's good to know I'm not the only one!

ah - I did say further up that they were my faves - but you have reminded me that's a bit how I felt about the last park I bought too

DM is obsessed with Sainsbury's pants. She comes to mine, we go to the café and then she has to buy pants. She'd love this thread.
Frigginintheriggin · 27/11/2021 10:00

These are my go to for comfort. No roll down

I’ve always worn M&S full briefs but they’ve rebranded and they’re not as high rise as they used to be, so they roll under my wobbly bits now.

Reading this thread with interest!

theluckiest · 27/11/2021 11:36

@TheLovelinessOfDemons I'm totally with your DM on this one.

I've spent a fortune on pants in my time. Posh ones, designer ones, cheap ones and hands down the best ones are Sainsbury's.

Their microfibre no VPL shorts with a stretchy lace band at the top are amazing. Hold you in and super comfy. £9 for 3 pairs.

These are the most comfortable undies I have ever worn.
I do not understand why they are not sold in the UK.

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 27/11/2021 11:37

Chantelle Stretch, brilliant.

BeyondOurReef · 27/11/2021 11:41

@DaisyWaldron

M&S Flexifit modal high rise shorts.
I was going to say the same.
Anoisagusaris · 27/11/2021 11:42

I’ve been wearing Primark seam free pants for years. So comfy and brilliant quality.

santabetterwashhishands · 27/11/2021 11:50

Sloggi maxi pants but I did feel well old when i purchased my first pack 🤣.
I'm a convert now and nothing else feels as comfortable.

Redcrayons · 27/11/2021 11:53

Mistakenly bought a pack of full briefs in M&S full briefs but left them too long to take back. What a game changer. Chucked all the mid rise ones out straight away.

I have the micro fibre ones for the gym and running but cotton for every day wear.

And always size up.

ImprobablePuffin · 27/11/2021 13:08

Thanks for all the tips I'll check them out. It's a shame so many good ones suggested seem to no longer be available.

@Calmyourselfdown. YES! God I love these. Got them after my csection. Just ordered another set as I’m not going back to crappy knickers. Such good value as well.

This is the shop on Amazon OP.
Wouldn’t usually buy clothes off Amazon but theses are amazing..

DramaAlpaca · 27/11/2021 13:14

M&S microfibre full briefs. I accidentally ordered them instead of my usual bikini style. When they arrived I thought wtf as they looked enormous, but when I tried them I was so pleasantly surprised at how comfy they were I went back and ordered more.
