Not remotely a softie and usually avoid CIN but this is great. Something about synchronised, multiple drumming that stirs the soul. Joyous.

Loved it!

Mydogisagentleman · 13/11/2021 12:28

I saw him in breakfast at about 6.30 before I went to work.
Brilliant man

LagneyandCasey · 13/11/2021 15:12

It was fabulous. I've never seen anything like that before!

OnFormbySands · 13/11/2021 15:18

He's brilliant 😊

Disfordarkchocolate · 13/11/2021 15:23

Oh that was joyous. It bought tears to my eyes.

Starcaller · 13/11/2021 15:24

Brilliant! Everyone looked so full of joy. There was something oddly emotional about it too!

Saucery · 13/11/2021 15:25

He’s fab. They did a piece about his life growing up (NWTonight) and he had quite a difficult time at school. His parents seemed lovely!

Escapedgoats · 13/11/2021 15:26

Absolutely loved it and shed a tear or two this morning when he finished. He is just wonderful.Smile

NotMyDayJob · 13/11/2021 15:27

I cannot stand children in need, but that was brilliant. I've really enjoyed the whole story about Owain doing the drumming

Luckystar1 · 13/11/2021 15:30

Oh wow!! I remember seeing this when he did the original during lockdown and crying as it was the best thing that had happened that week. I really like him, he’s so joyous!

Clawdy · 13/11/2021 15:44

He is so lovely, such fun as a weather presenter too.

MoiraNotRuby · 13/11/2021 15:45

I absolutely love Owain, what a lovely guy and a great thing to do. And to finish it with a Britney Spears song was an excellent touch I thought!!

Riverlee · 13/11/2021 15:46

Saw some last night and Saw the last hour. I was amazed the total doubled in the last hour. Owain seems a really nice lad and his energy and enthusiasm was infectious.

Well done Owain.

Riverlee · 13/11/2021 15:49

Just looked at his Wikipedia summary. Surprised to see he’s 37. Thought he was a lot younger!

Battleofwhocouldcareless · 13/11/2021 16:12

I love him too. Watched him this morning, brought a tear to my eye.
When he does the weather though I find myself not listening to a word he says, just admiring his amazing outfits.

Whattheduck · 13/11/2021 17:03

Proud to say my Dh took part in it and he had a ball

insancerre · 13/11/2021 17:06

He’s our local weather man and he is just so bloody lovely
He was so emotional when he had finished- he had me in tears too

Battle I'm always on brooch watch.

Massed drumming always makes me well up like a numpty.

Battleofwhocouldcareless · 13/11/2021 17:35

Watched this on BBC Breakfast this morning. So wonderful.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 13/11/2021 18:00

I love him.

Not many people could have filled Diane Oxberry’s shoes but he’s been perfect.
