Nearly there - stuck on the black and white circus tent and the one with the man looking at the painting because the one word title with that Stephen as the main character isn't working.

Have you Googled the name of the gallery to find the book with that name in it?

I have, Captain but only came up with the one word book, though I will look further after the clue above, I didn't know about the other book.

What type of alcoholic drinks are in the windows? And what would the sign say in English? If you Google both with "book" you should get there

(I also realised that it's asked a few posts up now too, now I've read the thread probably. I'd scanned it looking for words of objects I was scratching my head about, so wasn't picking up on "things").

Must say there was a lot of books I'd nev e heard of (including "things" one) and only got from either "say what you see" or putting in a word I thought might be associated with the image into goodreads.

The man with the stop sigb, only got because of a clue National Book Tokens put out. Don't think I'd have got it any other way despite knowing the book, having read it and one of my son's just read it for his English exam.

The nun... there are a zillion bloody books about looking for a sister, a lost sister, a missing one, it's doing my head in

DAMN! Finally got it by sheer luck. never heard of the series.

Wow! I just got my last two (Paradise & Dedalus Gallery) in 10 minutes - after struggling for days using Google search I tried my county library database - I'll use that first in future!

Book that came out earlier this year. Something you write in daily. Think about who is writing and what the topic is.

I have 2 that I still can't get:

• balloon man (tried so many combinations of old man sea)
• book shop

Try one more combination of old man and sea. Think classic 20th century US author, Spent time in Spain, liked his alcohol.

Phew. Finally done. I am sure I tried that balloon one before and it said it was wrong

You're just missing two definate articles and a coordinating conjunction.

I'm placemaking to come back tomorrow and see if I can get any clues. I think I have 8 so far.
