We are having pizza and strictly night. I've made pizza dough and everyone can add their own toppings to suit (all prepped and ready). I'm currently enjoying a quiet glass of wine, DD 16 is due home soon, DH is pottering about and ds 14 with ASD is watching Ice Age for the 1 millionth time.
We will probably watch a movie after strictly - ds won't join us for long but he never does!
The curtains are drawn and I can hear the rain outside but I feel happy and cosy!
How about your house?

Super quiet here. Ds upstairs in his room, Oh eating cheese and wine in the dining room, mother in her room watching a video.
Just finished working, eating and having some herbal tea, considering an early night.

DDs (15+17) at a firework display up the road, DH on a night shift. I'm at home and have just finished eating a fish pie and 6 champagne truffles watching Star Trek on E4 and contemplating finishing Wolf Hall on iplayer. Will probably wander into the kitchen to get more chocolate in a minute.

Absolute BLISS.

DS1 (5) tested positive on his day 2 LFT after coming back from holiday so we are all isolating awaiting PCR results. DH and I have developed profuse D&V so we’ve spent the day parenting the kids (younger one is 2) via TV and snacks. Just got them both to bed. DH asleep next to me. I’m waiting for stomach cramps to subside. Fuck my life!

Dd1 is in bed poorly. DP is on the couch poorly. DSS's x 2 in the lounge watching annoying things on you tube as no one as the energy to do anything fun with them. (Feel bad). I'm in the Kitchen (poorly) feeling fed up as had had to cancel a long standing dinner plan with friends. I'm in week 4 of chest infection now And knackered and fed up.
The only healthy one of us is dd2 who has gone out to a fireworks display.

Just had a bath and thinking about to watch on tv soon. Dd15 at bf’s and coming home soon. Ds10 gaming, dd10 gaming.

Thinking about eating left over Chinese from last night, there was loads left. Ordered far far too much, not had one in over 14 years!! - but I had mcds for lunch and been very full ever since....

Dp will have takeaway pizza, always does on a Saturday night, then he will go in the summer house to his boy pad to game.

I did order my new bed today!!!! 2 weeks until it comes, cannot tell you how excited I am 😁

ooh my beautiful red sparkly salsa shoes arrived earlier! They are the most comfortable shoes with heels (2" Cuban) that I have ever owned!

so I'm wearing pyjamas, an old tatty t-shirt and Dorothy shoes! I don't want to take them off!🤣

Dh and I are chilling on the sofa with devices and the rugby and waiting on a Chinese takeaway after a full on day catching up on chores and having a lovely family lunch with all 3 dd’s and dd2 girlfriend. Dd3 is watching tv on her room after a day of revising for gcse mocks and waiting for her dick spring rolls! Dd2 is out for dinner with her girlfriend and will call for a lift home later. Dd1 is celebrating her boyfriend’s 25 th birthday where they live with friends. It’s been a lovely day here .

I am not snuggling under blankets, having wine, watching strictly, ordering takeaway. If I get under a blanket I'll sweat the ass off myself, I can't drink wine as alcohol for some reason makes me vomit lately and I really don't like Strictly and we had Chinese last night...

I was planning on eating a tub of quality street watching Casualty, that's as interesting my life is. Dh working till 10pm. Kids gaming, you tubing, or out.

Drinking Wine ,Dips and crisps and watching strictly.

Poor ddog is barking his head off at fireworks. Obviously round here everybody’s forgotten Remember Remember… bastard things. Later I’ll have another go at a uni assignment. And maybe watch The Fall, which I’ve had on a constant loop for days! Or I may swing back to another reassuring easy-watch - Offspring ❤️

Having a nice cuppa when kids are in bed. Getting snuggly on the sofa with my snacks and chocolate basically vegging for the night.

Sitting in the sofa under a blanket while OH makes me cheese on toast for dinner. Kids just finished Domino's

I'm also under a blanket watching Strictly. Not a massive fan, just have it on as background noise. Waiting to start nightshift in a couple of hours which I could do without. Not having any wine or takeaways this month as trying to lose weight and it's nights like this it can get to me not having someone to snuggle with. I know I'm working but you know what I mean, especially with Christmas coming up and cold dark nights.

Anyway, must remain focused on the positives! Sorry to those having a rubbish time of it tonight.

Trying to get 12 yr old DD through the evening as she is on the brink of a panic attack. She has anxiety and her mood has been very low all day.

Never watched Strictly either .

I worked all day (retail), DH played golf, we had an M & S curry and now the usual discussion argument about what to watch on tv, I'd be very happy watching what I want in a separate room but for some reason feel I ought to be sociable and try to find something we can compromise on ... roll on next week when DH is away on business!

Everyone's on their tablet. We've been on them since morning, with food and toilet breaks. All happy here.

I had tomato and basil chicken pasta salad, DS 10 had half a portion of the same in the Sainsbury's café at 3, plus a packet of crisps and a jam doughnut, so he doesn't want anything else, DS 14's having a sleepover with his mate, DS 10's watching TikToks and I'm playing The Walking Dead and watching YouTube.

cherrypiepie they are fried onions with tomato purée, cinnamon, chilli, mustard, sugar/honey. Very delicious with hot dogs. Quite a few recipes on line which I’ve tried most of 😋. Hope you give it a try

We’ve had a Chinese and DH and the kids and some friends have gone to watch the local public firework display - there’s a family disco, a bar, etc.

The dog is terrified of the fireworks so I’ve stayed home with her and we’re currently sitting under the dining table watching Netflix on my iPad and sharing a bag of Doritos

We've just had chilli dogs for tea, my dd is now upstairs, in her bedroom, probably on her phone. Dh is asleep on the sofa and I'm watching strictly eating sweets
