We are having pizza and strictly night. I've made pizza dough and everyone can add their own toppings to suit (all prepped and ready). I'm currently enjoying a quiet glass of wine, DD 16 is due home soon, DH is pottering about and ds 14 with ASD is watching Ice Age for the 1 millionth time.
We will probably watch a movie after strictly - ds won't join us for long but he never does!
The curtains are drawn and I can hear the rain outside but I feel happy and cosy!
How about your house?

DP went for a long run earlier and it's just a lazy night in front of the TV for us tonight - watching Strictly and have a takeaway due to be delivered any moment now. Weather is really bad here so not feeling guilty about not being at any bonfire parties!

Will stick some music on after Strictly, have a few drinks and just talk.

DH is preparing shepherds pie for tomorrow's lunch, I am sat in kitchen reading mumsnet on my laptop and DS is gaming. I'm in my pj's and can't wait to lie on the sofa and fall in front of the tv!

Hot dogs with New York onions that I’ve been cooking for 2 hours. Some fireworks. Rylan on the radio and some rugby on the tv (dh).

DH is away golfing, oldest DS is sleeping at a friend's house. Myself and youngest are alternating between binge watching Peppa Pig, playing with Diggers and colouring in...

It's lovely and toasty, curtains closed, can hear the wind howling and pleased I'm in for the night now.

Fleece Blankets and lots of cushions here. Baths have been had and PJs are on

Watching Wales v SA, it's really hotting up.

On day 6 of isolation but feeling fine, so I'm quaffing a few cd Stringbows.
Set the TV to record Strictly which overlaps. After which DD will get kicked up to bed and I'll enjoy a bit of peace, as opposed to the literally ceaseless chatter I have endured all week.

Asymptomatic covid isn't always as good as it sounds.

We've been out at a national trust place all day and got quite chilly and muddy, and it feels lovely to be in our cosy house under a blanket with a Christmassy-smelling candle. DH is doing some exercise in the dining room, DS2 is asleep upstairs. I need to cook dinner (curry) but can't be arsed to get off the sofa.

Nice to read what lovely evenings everyone is having. Im lying on my bed reading MN after being talked to like crap by my moody partner. Hes in a really bad mood, no idea why, and told me he wants to be left alone and will sort his own dinner out tonight. So after an hours crying Im lying on my bed reading all the lovely things everyone else is doing and what I would have been doing if it wasnt for him. Children are at a sleepover so its just us.

My husband started moaning that he isn't going to cook every other day and that he does everything. Final nail in the coffin of an ungrateful Cu*t. So I have advised him I have now saved up enough and I want a divorce from the financial abusive man that he is. So he can now do everything, that he thinks he does anyway, all day everyday, while being alone and paying for that. Now being guilt tripped on what a selfish mother I am, blah blah blah. Roll on 2022, when hopefully this 20 marriage can be over . Done, so very very done.

Watching strictly , waiting on our food to finish cooking ( tesco finest meal deal, £10 for two ) .

Called to PIL earlier. Then had a wander around shopping centre with ds2. Just had a takeaway and now we are all in front of the fire. Ds2 watching TV, ds1 on his tablet, me & dh on phones. Once ds2 goes to bed we'll take over the TV

Watched a movie with kids (DS13 and DH horror, DS11 and I a Johnny English). Kids are now having YouTube night.

I am recovering from covid, and we are missing a special weekend away without the kids, so I’ve put on a dress to cook nice food, and we have decent wine instead of our ‘workaday’ stuff. Not the same as being in a posh hotel with my sister, but at least I feel better! Luckily DH knows i will still be asleep by 9pm 🤣

Dh and I are chilling on the sofa with devices and the rugby and waiting on a Chinese takeaway after a full on day catching up on chores and having a lovely family lunch with all 3 dd’s and dd2 girlfriend.
Dd3 is watching tv on her room after a day of revising for gcse mocks and waiting for her dick spring rolls!
Dd2 is out for dinner with her girlfriend and will call for a lift home later.
Dd1 is celebrating her boyfriend’s 25 th birthday where they live with friends.
It’s been a lovely day here .

DH is out at his mates house where a gang of them have spent the afternoon drinking and cooking a huge feast which they will eat and then drink some more.
Me and the children have been lazy watching TV under my heated furry throw, a superb investment. Then we had a bath (starting to get cramped for all three of us to squeeze in together). Then chip shop for tea followed by brownies from a gorgeous bakery that I picked up earlier when I went to town to get my roots done.
About to start bedtime and read Charlie and the chocolate factory. Up to the chapter where Charlie finds the golden ticket so kids will be mega excited. Then I will retreat back under my blanket and watch telly. Something comfortable like Death in Paradise or Poirot surrounded by the cats while I
wait for DH to get in so I can laugh at how drunk he is and make sure he locks the front door.

Toddler is in bed, I'm watching zombie films with my knitting and the dog.

Not much, we've had dinner, DD is just making cups of tea.

I'm watching nonsense on YouTube and will probably read before bed. DD being a teenager will retire to her room with the cat to play games online and chat to friends (the cat sometimes chats but doesn't game).

I'll speak to DP over WhatsApp at bedtime.

Having found some mulled wine spice* and half a bottle of red that needs drinking, I have made some mulled wine and am about to start writing my Christmas cards. 🎄

*Best before Oct 2018, but the result tastes nice!

I cooked cocktail sausages because DH ordered a pizza and I don’t want one. I’m going to spend the evening munching on them once they go cold and have the rest tomorrow.

We’re going to watch the next 2 episodes of Scandal. We just started it and are loving it!!
