I could have written your post, I'm 42 and my tolerance level for bull shitters/knob heads has completely fell through the floor.

I used to be quite shy & would be upset if people spoke to me in a nasty tone, I jut deliver it straight back now 😱 I do actually dread hitting the menopause!

I'm 29 and already in complete and untimitigated contempt of almost everyone

At 45 I keep my bucket of fucks closely guarded and only very grudgingly give them out. My box of 'meh', however is freely open to all and I've found life much simpler ever since 😂. I will speak up more and say no more but equally I can't be arsed to get exercised about many things, most of which I can't do anything about.

I have a (male, 30-ish) neighbour who is an utter wimp ... in the summer he complained anonymously to the authorities about our joint neighbour, designing his communication to look as if it was from us. Whatever...

This week, he got his mate to moan about our garden light being too bright for his liking as he was not man enough to speak to us himself ... then we received a letter from the LA telling us to tone it down. So I went into the garden, took a photo of HIS searchlight which illuminates one side of our house. My appearance over his fence clearly traumatised him, so he came out and got his dog, which triggers his light. I said loudly to my husband: "Now the fcking wimp is getting his dog in"*. He was MOST upset.

Nothing worse than a called-out male wimp IME.

I am ready for more if necessary :).

I work in an industry where some clients seem to think we can be spoke. Down to or like a bloody child.
Needless to say in the last year or so they've been put in their place

My dh just laughs at my bluntness which is never unkind but direct and I'm always more than willing to call people out on their bullshit nowadays
