I am scheduled to have both back wisdoms out. My bottom left wisdom is broken has been very painful later.
Other bottom wisdom has a hole in it.
Will i be in more pain after having them removed ?
How long will it take to recover ?

Afterwards I got an infection, then dry socket and didn't eat properly for a week. I was breastfeeding so couldn't take anything stronger than paracetamol.

The worst pain I have ever known during recovery no way would I be planning a concert.

I'm having my final one out in a few weeks.

I had one out at dentist and I looked like a hamster for a good week afterwards. However I have a very small mouth and it was a bugger to get out.

Pain wise, I think 2-3days for the pain to subside. But still keep dosed on paracetamol and ibuprofen rotated (make sure you take some before you go to appointment too, I wish I did.)

I had one out and went to work that afternoon . My face was massively swollen though .

You’ll not be up for much for a couple of days but if you avoid dry socket and take it really easy for a couple of days you should be grand for the weekend.

Dry socket is when you dislodge the clot over the hole where the tooth was. To avoid it don’t suck anything, don’t smoke and don’t eat anything bitty that could get lodged. You’ve got to be so careful. My dental surgeon told me to rinse with salt water and not brush for 48 hours. I was told to hold the water gently in my mouth and shake my head side to side slowly then let the water dribble out into the sink. Do not spit! Nothing that creates pressure in the mouth.

I booked a week off thinking I’d be in agony but it was just fine. I was eating ice cream on a pedalo by day 3. Good luck Flowers

I had 3 removed at the dentist. Took Paracetamol that night, and then fine. Mouth was a bit sore for a couple of days, but no problem.
