Yup I'm always awake early anyway but it takes my body a while to catch up with the clocks .

Letsallscreamatthesistene · 31/10/2021 05:08

Im battling my 19mo and trying to make him go back to sleep. I WILL NOT GIVE IN!

TrufflyPig · 31/10/2021 05:15

Yes! DD started waking up at 5.45am every day the last week. Clocks have gone back, so today it was 4.45am on the new time Sad

canichange · 31/10/2021 05:17

3:30 new time! My boys came in to me at 4:30, they usually wake up around 5, so they were a bit early even in old time. I think the weather woke them up.

I slept in the spare room on purpose because I always sleep better on my own, I wanted to make the most of whatever sleep I was going to get! I've already scheduled in a Sunday afternoon nap to catch up.

Amammai · 31/10/2021 05:17

Toddler still asleep but 4month old baby wide awake with no signs of going back to sleep 😴😴😴😴

rrhuth · 31/10/2021 05:17

I love this morning because it gives an extra hour before whatever deadline I have (today it is a lunch thing) so yes I'm awake but happy about it Brew

middleager · 31/10/2021 05:18

Went to bed at 1, woke at 3.30. Been awake since. Not sure why!

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 31/10/2021 05:20

Me! Everyone is still asleep here - I’m having the period from hell. Considering going back on the mini pill. Do I try and go back to sleep or suck it up and get up?

Crabbyboot · 31/10/2021 05:21

Yes I came on here for advice!

themerrywifeofwindsor · 31/10/2021 05:22

Yep, woke up by myself just before 4:30, knowing that the DC would start soon, I was right Sad

Justanotherquestioner · 31/10/2021 05:23

Yep. Up with a feverish 3 year old. It's been a long night

TrufflyPig · 31/10/2021 05:23

No advice sorry, just solidarity and coffee!

Yes! DS woke at his normal time of 5.45 except it's now 4.45. He has a cold (not Covid!) too so was up several times in the night. Watching trains on YouTube now while we wait for CBeebies to start.

Theblackdogagain · 31/10/2021 05:24

I'm awake, everyone else still asleep but I've always been an early riser and it takes ages for my body clock to align with time.

BunnytheFriendlyDragon · 31/10/2021 05:24

Feeding four month old

Hoping for a bit more sleep

TrufflyPig · 31/10/2021 05:25

It's always bad times when you are awake before CBeebies 😂

It really is!
WreckTangled · 31/10/2021 05:29

Awake from 3:45. Thought we had outgrown this as usually the dc get up without us anyway but ds appears to have croup. We're both on the sofa under his duvet watching Netflix.

Yep. That's my benchmark for what is acceptable.
MuchTooTired · 31/10/2021 05:33

DS woke at 4.45. I brought my pillows into his room to try to continue sleeping in the hope he’d copy. No chance! He used the few minutes I was asleep to wake his twin, and we’ve been sat here watching paw patrol for the last half an hour or so.

My eyes feel like they’re made of sandpaper.

GiltEdges · 31/10/2021 05:33

All awake here. DS randomly started waking at 5am last week, today it was 3:50 😩 DH has taken the dogs out early to escape watching Octonauts the movie for the millionth time.

clpsmum · 31/10/2021 05:36

Up since 2 😫😫😫

LesLavandes · 31/10/2021 05:37

Awake. Live by sea in Brighton. The wind is huge

anonymousanne · 31/10/2021 05:40

I've somehow survived this clock change! How I don't know!
Baby usually wakes at 5.30, so I expected to be up at 4.30, but he's still asleep 😮 I'm awake now as technically it's 6.30 so I've actually had an extra hour. My toddler wakes up around 6.30 and has just gone down with DH. I won't put her to bed until usual time tonight so hopefully she will readjust for tomorrow morning 🙏
