Been awake since 4.27am, currently watching Hey Duggee with a strong coffee. Anyone else?? Bloody clocks!

An extra hour in bed - unless you have a baby or toddler.

I wonder what time my husband will crawl out of bed.

MynameisJune · 31/10/2021 05:46

Up at 5:30 here which is obviously 6:30 in normal time, which is late for my two so I’m happy enough because I expected the day to start with a 4!

linerforlife · 31/10/2021 05:46

We are watching Hey Duggee too. The cheese badge! I've got a hazelnut latte and am planning our Sunday while DH snooze off this hangover. DD usually wakes at 5am/5.30am so I was dreading a 4am start in old money... but actually she only woke up half an hour ago so I'm counting that as a result!!

NumberZ · 31/10/2021 05:48

Yelp! Looking forward to the 6pm bed time this evening though Grin

PeriChristmas · 31/10/2021 05:51

Yes!
Peri symptoms keeping me awake anxious and achy.
Are the clocks going back?!?!

WithCatLikeTread · 31/10/2021 05:51

Up early by choice. Off running today. In rain and mud. Will be lovely….hmm.

Been there with the ‘extra hour in bed’ brigade many times myself, count not have imagined I’d ever voluntarily deprive myself of sleep.

itsgettingwierd · 31/10/2021 05:52

I woke at 1.45am and didn't know if it was the old or new 1.45 🤣🤣

That meant I struggled to go back to sleep for fear I wouldn't wake up at 6am which I need to be up for today to drive da to an event a few hours away.

I finally dropped off again and woke at 5.30. That's usual as I'm usually awake at 6.30 naturally.

I still don't know which 1.45 I originally woke up at 🤷‍♀️🤣

Omg exact same beverage and circumstance! I would wake him up but I think he suffered enough watching Wales v NZ yesterday 😂

Yeah 4am club is a bit of a dive!... I've got bing on... I cannot deal with this rabbit anymore 😅

bangonthedoorgroovychick · 31/10/2021 05:56

Both kids woke up at 4am, the eldest (5) said it was the perfect time to go trick or treating Envy

sittingonacornflake · 31/10/2021 05:56

Yep, 4:45 here (why do already early risers seem to wake up EVEN earlier on clock change day?!). Absolutely FULL of beans and STARVING HUNGRY apparently so I had to get straight up and make breakfast.

Like a pp poster though I think the weather woke him, it was very loud.

wetpebbles · 31/10/2021 05:57

Yep 4am club with the wind rattling and the cat meowing to come in even though he has a cat flap, at least I've done my Tesco online shop before little people wake up

Andwander · 31/10/2021 06:02

Yes,up since 5.30 .Thank you for this thread, thought I am the only one.My 2 dogs looking at me with that look of, what the fuck. Why on earth do we have to endure this shit every year!

ThirdElephant · 31/10/2021 06:03

From 4:30 this morning. Sigh.

TrufflyPig · 31/10/2021 06:05

Been up for an hour here, 7yo was first up which was a surprise, then 4yo and very hungry cat. Might use my extra hour to carry on with the decorating... Just waiting for coffee to kick in. Might need more.

MMM2 · 31/10/2021 06:06

4.05, !!! Still laid watching Fantasy Homes By the Sea...if only I had the money !!

Metabigot · 31/10/2021 06:08

Me! Been waking up early most mornings anyway as I'm recovering from covid so going to bed stupidly early (same time as kids). Must be getting better as I've already sorted out my 'drawer of crap' where I just bung everything in randomly to try and make it more organised and it's only just turned 6!

Incywinceyspider · 31/10/2021 06:09

I kept DS awake for as long as I could last night in the hope he might sleep later. Didn't work but tbf wasn't as bad as some on here. He's been chatting to himself since 5.30. I'm currently lying in bed hoping that he'll drift back off!

Ha, my sons car clock has been an hour out all summer, but as he hardly uses it (WFH) it didn’t matter. It will be correct now.

I have been awake since 4.30 new time, at a cousins house in Ireland but flying back later so guess my mind is whirring with thoughts of going home, and hoping the flight takes off!

Anyone in Manchester area, what is weather like? I know that gales were forecast, but am hoping the short hop Dublin/Mcr will still be OK!

TheVanguardSix · 31/10/2021 06:14

It's always bad times when you are awake before CBeebies

This made me laugh! The CBeebies days are years behind me now, but oh my god, your comment just hit an old nail on the head. That sinking feeling when you're awake before Justin (is he even still on CBeebies?)! Grin

Incywinceyspider · 31/10/2021 06:16

@TheVanguardSix Yes he is. He's been doing the live presenting as well this week as he's promoting his new series, which is way more Justin than I can cope with!!

DailyRepeatGuarantee · 31/10/2021 06:17

Would've been OK if it wasn't drunks waking up 6mo an hour earlier for middle of the night feed so she then woke earlier for the day as a result at 4am Envy

Caspianberg · 31/10/2021 06:17

Ds usually wakes around 6am. He must have had a lie in as woke around 6am still fortunately
