Dark chocolate versions of sweets that were better

I used to like but can no longer find dark chocolate versions of:

Walnut whip
Mars
ToffeeCrisp
Twix
Frys 5 centres
Chocolate raisins

I can occasionally get Tunnocks teacakes

Can anyone find them nowadays? Do you have suggestions for alternatives?

I think I’ve found my person. Why don’t they do more dark chocolate ones,

PlausibleSuit · 30/10/2021 17:01

I much prefer dark chocolate Bounty.

KatyMac · 30/10/2021 17:01

Dark milky way would be superb!

Ooh and a dark chocolate Toblerone too.

onepieceoflollipop · 30/10/2021 17:03

Roses chocolates used to have more dark - fruit creams (now milk)
Coffee cream (gone) mini bournville and dark chocolate Brazil caramel

KatyMac · 30/10/2021 17:03

Forgot Bounty as I'm not supposed to have coconut anymore; it was amazing! Lush! And I don't use that word!

Haven't seen dark chocolate Bounty for years.

KatyMac · 30/10/2021 17:04

Dark Bountys are often in petrol stations

Can still get dark toblerone
And M&S do their own version

Plain chocolate club biscuit was lush

MrsSchadenfreude · 30/10/2021 17:05

I found dark chocolate Bounty yesterday but am not in U.K. Was very excited!

My dd12 is obsessed with dark chocolate.
She likes bourneville. They’ve just started to make Bourneville crunch bars.
Toblerone, Moser Roth 70% dark, Wagon wheels.

nameyouwhat · 30/10/2021 17:06

Gosh I love a dark bounty!

RandomMess · 30/10/2021 17:10

Sainsbury’s used to do dark chocolate and lemon biscuits - a 5 pack bit like club biscuits.

Bournville is disappointing now as you can taste the palm oil in it and sweeter than used to be Sad

I live up north so dark tunnocks tea cakes and wafers readily available!

RandomMess · 30/10/2021 17:10

Oh it's you KatyMac, perhaps I could post you some...

KatyMac · 30/10/2021 17:13

AW thanks

I occasionally get them by going into B&M or the pound shop.....but its random!

Club did a "Club class" biscuit in the 90s - the mint one was dark chocolate iirc, and gorgeous. There was an orange one too, I think.

MamaRaisingBoys · 30/10/2021 17:15

The Range usually has dark Bountys

PlausibleSuit · 30/10/2021 17:15

Oh yes I agree Bournville used to be nicer

CurlyMango · 30/10/2021 17:15

Dark chocolate honeycomb…love it so much I make my own

PlausibleSuit · 30/10/2021 17:15

Dark Terry’s Chocolate Orange is quite nice too although I don’t think the orange flavouring is the best.

PlausibleSuit · 30/10/2021 17:16

Terry’s Dark Chocolate I mean

No idea who Dark Terry is

lots33 · 30/10/2021 17:17

I saw dark chocolate oranges in Asda today for the first time in years.

Scarby9 · 30/10/2021 17:21

All of the above, plus dark chocolate Just Brazils.

RandomMess · 30/10/2021 17:25

Don't get the Terry's Dark Choc orange - full of palm oil and sickly sweet these days Sad
