I like something tasty but easy on Friday nights.... our 'go-to' is pizza & wings or steak with peppercorn sauce Grin

What's yours?

Chippy is my fave on a Friday
And while we're on the show - 'The Mercedes' is a good one!

WitchsFamiliarWhichIsFamiliar · 29/10/2021 10:19

This show has turned up in another thread! Definitely going to make dh watch it tonight. I love the mum - is it Tamsin Greig? Fran from black books!

We don't have a go-to Friday dinner... I'm into the idea of one though, so will watch this for inspiration Smile

OompaLumpaLabrador · 29/10/2021 10:25

Nice bit of squirrel ( of course!)

But to combine two themes, one of my favourite Friday night dinners is when we’ve been staying with our Jewish friends and they serve roast chicken. Our friend sprinkles some secret super savoury mix on the chicken ( which she won’t divulge the contents of but tells me is Jewish fairy dust 😊)

HeyArnoldHey · 29/10/2021 10:49

It's a mix and match Grin

Obviously a nice bit of squirrel, followed by crimble crumble...

We always have chilli on Fridays. It started as an easy meal I could make before ferrying DC to various activities, and was quick to heat up when we got back. But now my children are adults, and we still have chilli on Friday, and so do they, but in their own homes!
