What's your favourite Friday night dinner?

I like something tasty but easy on Friday nights.... our 'go-to' is pizza & wings or steak with peppercorn sauce

Our main go to for Friday night dinner is chilli in some variation - beef, chicken or lentil. Served with nachos, sour cream, grated cheese hand chopped red onion. If not chilli then a nice Dahl with rice and poppadoms

Friday night is pasta night - for me it’s a night in the kitchen guddling about improvising on a theme while drinking wine. I love it.

Bread, cheese and a bottle of wine

We have fishy Friday here now
Used to make a big chilli or Bolognese when children at home as we didn't know who would be in or out and it would get eaten over the weekend

It's a bit silly though as it's our third fish meal of the week but only the Friday one is covered with batter

I always feel bad though because Jackie cooks a lovely bit of squirrel, while we have fish and chips or junk food as I’m so knackered.

I'm Jewish so it's a full multi course family dinner
Tonight is homemade challah and spicy olives , chopped liver and egg and veg for the kids, chicken soup and lokshen, apricot garlic chicken legs, roast paprika amd garlic potatoes, roast sweet potato chips and then if I get a chance I'm gonna make some green beans and hot choc cake and dairy free ice cream for dessert.

Fave night meal of the week! And basically garlic and paprika on EVERYTHING. Yum!!!!

Chippy tea is the best thing on a Friday night eaten straight from the paper😃 along with a glass bottle of Irn Bru.
Saturday nights are Indian takeaway nights in our house.

Since having DS and less time to cook, we have Fish Friday. Very lazy oven fare. It tends to be fish fingers and waffles/chips with veg for DS. I am veggie so have some kind of oven veggie pie/tart/burger and DH will have salmon or fish fillet.

The funeral one where Jim turns up with balloons that burst throughout the service and horrible grandma gets arrested.

Usually we get takeaway on a Friday (lamb rogan josh / chicken korma) because nobody wants to cook at the end of the week, but today we are having a beef casserole because I've had the day off and felt like making something.
