Love reading these threads and couldn't see one for today.

I'm having a quiet cup of tea before DH gets up. The dog and DS2 have had breakfast, dog is asleep and DS2 is watching tv. We're going to the bookshop today so DS1 can spend his book token, then the pet shop to get a new lead for the dog. We're planning to take the dog for a longish walk later and then have a movie night with snacks. I've also got to clean out the hamster and goldfish at some point today. A lovely chilled out Saturday!

Our cleaner did a double shift for us yesterday so enjoying how uber fresh & clean everything feels this morning. Just finished my 2nd coffee and about to jump in the shower before popping out for a quick lunch with DH.

DH playing golf this afternoon, so I'm going to tackle the laundry then hopefully finish my jigsaw (the sky is causing me all sorts of trouble).

Tonight I'm going out for dinner with my ex work colleagues, so looking forward to a catch up and some excellent food & drinks.

Just chilling till about three, when me and DH will head to town to do a bit of shopping until our escape room at 6:20! So excited. Then home for steak and chips.

Just went out for brunch - eggs benedict, pancakes and smoothies - yum.

Home now to watch the football (DH and DSs), go for a run (me) and watch Strictly later.

Long dog walk. Which now means I'll be bathing him next as he got filthy
Then laundry while my boys watch the footie and then packing for a few days away whilst constantly worrying that we will get ill either today or tomorrow or while away. It's almost worth not going as I'm so stressed. I'm not worried about catching it as we didn't get it when DS had it 3 weeks ago but almost wish we had - I'd then feel invincible and not worried about catching OR spreading "the 'Rona"
Phew. Feels good to get that out. I'm also putting us on house arrest aside from dog walk and a late night Tesco shop to avoid "people". I may wear a hazmat suit

Had a busy morning - DS 3 had footy training and I needed to take the dog to the vet for her annual vaccinations. Then a quick shopping trip and collecting DS. DS 1 and 2 normally also have football but was cancelled today so they got a lie in! DS 2 has gone out skating with his bestie and family. Just made cheese toasties and Heinz tomato soup for lunch. Dog now snoozing on the sofa, DS 1and 3 playing nicely together. Having a quick nap in a mo and looking forward to a Chinese takeaway (one of those you buy in a bag and cook at home) later on. A lovely day :)

Busy morning of coat shopping for dd and ferrying her to a sports lesson. Now both dc are on screens and I'm kicking my heels feeling a bit bored and lonely... Blush
Will turf them off screens soon and then field requests for more for the rest of the afternoon. Then something for dinner and Strictly tonight.
