What's everyone up to today?

Love reading these threads and couldn't see one for today.

I'm having a quiet cup of tea before DH gets up. The dog and DS2 have had breakfast, dog is asleep and DS2 is watching tv. We're going to the bookshop today so DS1 can spend his book token, then the pet shop to get a new lead for the dog. We're planning to take the dog for a longish walk later and then have a movie night with snacks. I've also got to clean out the hamster and goldfish at some point today. A lovely chilled out Saturday!

Playing Fuzzikins with DD. If you don't know what these are you are lucky! Shortly getting her ready for her swimming lesson and then might take her to Costa afterwards. Cricket and football on TV today so no hope of seeing DH.

Busy day here - lots of laundry, packing and cleaning the flat (me)
DH is taking DC to the barbers and out to McDonalds for lunch to get them out of the way for my packing/cleaning, and going to Asdas to pick up euros.

(Going on holiday Monday morning, soo excited!)

In bed, recovering from covid so it'll be easy going. First day allowed out of isolation but haven't any grand plans. DC downstairs with cbbc, I've had a cup of tea and a banana and need to hang some laundry out. Need to renew some library books...

I'm waiting for my nails to dry at the moment.

I've unpacked a 7am Tesco delivery and cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. Put a wash on. Been out three times this week which has involved three handbag changes so I've cleared the dining table which was covered in handbags and some of the crap that goes in them. Very satisfying.

DH out at work and then going to football but will be home for bacon sandwiches in between.

After that I shall be binge watching Pose again (much like last Saturday).

Heading out for lunch with some friends later. Otherwise a quiet day, just catching up on some chores and work. I’m aiming to have a reasonably healthy lunch as I have a Planet Doughnut doughnut in the house which I am looking forward to having later. Not sure if anyone’s tried them but I’d recommend, they’re amazing!

Mid afternoon here now...
Met friends for carb filled yummy breakfast then a 45 min walk down to the local market to pick up some cool socks for Xmas presents, veg and fruit for the week.
Came home, put laundry on, may head to supermarket before meeting someone for coffee in a couple of hours. Gorgeous sunny autumnal day.

We're finally papering the living room after I bought the paper in January to paper in February but Dh got ill.

So far i have got up , had a shower and hung the washing out.

Now im on the internet having a brew.

DP’s been to park run, DS has been picked up by his dad for the weekend, I’m off to get some moving boxes from Facebook marketplace and this afternoon I’ll be sorting the washing and packing for our half term holiday to centre parcs. Happy happy happy.

Dog walk done, taking DC’s for their COVID jabs in a bit, hoping to see cousin and his family at lunch time, walking sisters dogs later, Chinese for supper and the meeting friends in pub for a drink

Absolutely no idea!!
Dh has gone to work but says he is going to finish as soon as he can and wants us to go out somewhere. Seeing that I am the events and activities coordinator in our house I'll think of somewhere to go this afternoon. Hes asked if I fancy stopping away overnight somewhere so between MNing, baking and getting the bedding washed I'm on booking.com!

Lazy day today. Kids are exhausted and the youngest is just getting over H,F,M (which she passed to DP. Rest if us are unscathed)

Going to get all the weekly chores done. Beds already changed, towels on a hot wash. Floors mopped, bathroom is sparkling.

I'm off out tonight for dinner, just with my siblings but it's a kind of belated birthday for a few of us. Due to us all having loads of kids we are leaving partners and kids at home

I've recently had a big op so not venturing far today. I've had toast and honey and a pineapple smoothie for breakfast, and am contemplating a second cup of coffee.

The dog is asleep in my bed, teen DS asleep in his room, DH and other DC away with inlaws. I am toying with going to the corner shop for a paper and maybe making some choc chip cookies.

Later I plan to watch the second episode of Squid Game - not sure if I'm going to stick with it but like seeing what all the fuss is about - and do my physio exercises. I will also lie on the sofa and read my book and light the fire.

I’m on my last day of isolating and feeling well enough to face a bit of housework and the washing basket. Incredibly excited about being able to go for a walk tomorrow

Exhausted already! Have first ever viewers at 11 and still cleaning (after a week of non-stop decluttering, and scraping off years of grime). A tip when selling - don't start cleaning paintwork at the last minute, every place you clean just shows the rest up for what it is, chipped and yellow. And whoever invented multi-paned glazed doors needs shooting! Trying to air rooms to get rid of doggy smell and dog keeps following me! Go away!
Can't wait for 12, it will all be over, then I have a flu jab then an all-day breakfast. Can't wait. Happy Saturdays everyone.

Having a very lazy indulgent day after a couple of busy weeks.
-I'm going to have a bath, shave and do an IPL session on my legs whilst watching the last episode of 'maid' on Netflix.
-Then I'll do some food prep for the first few days of the week) lunches for work and dinners as I work long days so can to cook when I get home)
-Clean the bathroom and vacuum
-Walk along the beach with a friend early eve and possibly a quick pint.
-Home and make dinner and probably watch a film with Dp

I'm grumpily drinking coffee even though I don't like coffee. DH set his alarm to go off 4 times in the night for no reason and I didn't manage to go back to sleep. Now he's snoring away whilst DC are going "mum!" Every 2.5 seconds.

Just going to do some food shopping when I'm actually properly awake and come back and relax maybe make DH mind DCs while I have a nap. I'm not in the best of moods.

Day 7 of isolating just had a call from t and t reminding me it's illegal for me to go out and thanking me for doing my bit by staying in.
Apart from no taste and smell I feel fine. I've managed to wfh all week. I may have to do some housework today 🤦‍♀️

Absolutely fuck all due to my stupid hips.

Isolating thanks to Covid. Has been a week so far, including my birthday yesterday, & getting a bit fed up with it now. Freedom on Tuesday (officially Monday but DS3 not free until Tuesday so will have to look after him).

Plans include reading my Book Club book, dishwasher, washing, tidy up the garden, declutter a bit.

@Cuntness ohhh I've been there, I feel for you. How long have you got to go?

My calm day is just about remaining calm, the dog is whining, DS2 is refusing to tidy up and DH is annoyed because the TV won't work properly. Time to get everyone out of the house

Continuing to insulate windows with bubble wrap. Just the ones that already have textured glass or have no view worth looking through.
It is an incredibly satisfying and easy process. I hope it helps save something on our fuel bills £380 a month!

I've just enjoyed a second breakfast. After having bagels and cream cheese with tea AND coffee earlier, I've just had toast, fried eggs and bacon with black "earl grey with clementine". This might just be a day of breakfasts as I also now kind of fancy a bowl of porridge (I make mine with milk and cinnamon with banana slices). I might give it a couple of hours...

11 days until my caesarean. Not that I'm counting down, or anything. The pain has kicked up a notch today and is radiating down my thighs. Just excellent.
